I didn't say it was like marvel.
I say it was closer to marvel than to MK. Kudos on that reading comprehension.
Actually, some stages do matter in Marvel. Characters with darker colors have an advantage on night stages because it gets harder to react to them consistedly.
The combo system in this game and it's approach is closer to Marvel than it is to MK.
Also correct me if I'm wrong (just entertaining this idea because I know I'm not), but doesn't Arturo come from a SF background? He's bad right? Never breaks top 16? Huh
Isn't Alucard from a Capcom background? He's bad too right? He knocked out the ECT champion with a character that is considered B tier. Huh. And I can pretty much guarantee he only got 8 because of how early his match was. He nearly got DQ'd too. As soon as he lost he went back to sleep again.
Isn't Justin Wong from a capcom background too? I seem to remember him getting 2nd or 1st in the very first tournament for this game...
Also, why shouldn't I count Chris G? The man's main focus are capcom games. It comes as no surprise that he dominates a game closer to a capcom game than a MK one, with a character that isn't top at all.
Dragon God is bad too right?
Then there's NYCFab. You actually have someone from a Tekken background playing Lex Luthor and he's doing pretty great. Probably best Lex out there.
Never in top 16 right?
Injustice's MK vs Capcom needs to happen at CEO.
Injustice is WAY more similar to MK than Marvel. Chris g was tester, Arturo had the game before it came out as well. How many non-tester capcom players are making it to the top? Watch me vs Alucard in top 8, end of that story. NYCFab is a Tekken player, he's a beast I'll give him that. Justice Wong placed 4th in a week one tournament when the game very first came out, but 1st and 2nd place in that tournament was Tyrant and WonderChef...... Oh yeah, those are Mortal Kombat players. Justin has been getting knocked out pretty early at majors now.
Listen, I'm not saying Capcom players suck. I'm saying they normally don't place higher in Injustice tournaments than MK players, and there aren't nearly as many Capcom players say in top 16 than there are MK players. If you count the top 16 from the past five Injustice majors, count how many MK players were in top 16 and how many Capcom players were in top 16, MK players are probably more than triple the number of the Capcom players. Also an MK player has won 1st place in every single tournament as of yet, except for Ufgt9 this weekend. That's the truth of it. And the only reason I'm talking shit and making competition out of it is because Capcom players said they were going to pick up Injustice and beat MK players at our own game. So far they are failing pretty badly at trying to back up that statement.
