I like to use that string. I only throw it out on successful jump ins or as a punish because the first jab comes out fast.I asked this in another thread and figured I'd write it here, but I'm finding myself not using Batmans 123 string as much to the point where I only use the string to connect other strings into b23 or sometimes when I can confirm with a jin2. To me it seems to be his easiest blocked string for those who know what to look for as it starts high than goes low and its not very fast. Also people can crouch jab it when it starts because it starts high. I find myself concentrating b11, b112, b113, 112, 113, 223, f23, f3 as my basis for my Batmans offense and was wondering if anyone was doing the same? Heck even after watching Reo's Batman at ECT I don't think I seen him start any pressure or combos with the 123 string at all.

I would make sure that release check is off in the controller settings first of all. If that is the case just go into practice mode and practice doing b2 into db2 over and over until it comes out every time. You should be inputting the db2 command while the animation is starting up for the b2 move.I have been trying to bang this combo out and for the life of me I cant get the b2 into mb up rang, hell I can barely get the 123 into MB up-rang, It should just be a super fast rapid input right? like a cancel ?

Most certainly viable online. My old bnb was 113 b3 j3 b2 up grapple MB j3 b23 for 44% and this is WAY easier and 1 more %Alright ill hit the lab with that in mind thanks, Is this combo viable online or is the timing way too strict?
I think 123 should be used when you are pressuring your opponent... people are not used to poke out of Batman strings YET, but sooner or later they will start to do that, and mixing 12, 123 and 113 will mess with their timing. Also, 12 gives you a little advantage on block and it`s not that hard to hitconfirm into 123 or 12 trait (which gives you a lot more frame adv.), even though I can not do that consistently at the moment. I think its a good string to use when you condition the opponent to block high, but at that point im going to be doing b11 strings anyway and hit them low. can you use his other strings(223,113,b113) with this combo or will the hitstun be too high? I know that his 123, 3, mb up batarang works for his other strings as well in place of 123(in the corner of course).Here's a corner combo I made weeks ago as well.
123, 3, db2 MB, j3, 22, grapple MB, Nj2, b23. You can release bats if u have them to extend the combo as well

Can't remember, but I think 123 gave the highest damage. It's been a few weeks since I've been in the lab with Bruce, been using Lobo and batgirl, lolcan you use his other strings(223,113,b113) with this combo or will the hitstun be too high? I know that his 123, 3, mb up batarang works for his other strings as well in place of 123(in the corner of course).
His recovery off d2 on hit is pretty slow so most I can get meterless is b23 for like 16%. You can do like d2 into ex up rang or sky hook for around 26%-29%Does anyone know of any Bats combos that begin with D2? It's funny how matches turn into "the battle of the character with the most elite frames advantage".
