NOTE: This thread is not meant to imply that Superman is underpowered or overpowered in anyway. Also I'm not asking for this to be applied in a patch. Just hypothetical.

It'd be cool if Superman's trait was buffed slightly if he's exposed to sunlight. Certain stages are out in the open and that would add another level of strategy for level transitions and selections. Not saying it's necessary just would be cool. Example: B2, 3 string does 11% w/o trait and 14% with trait. Out in the sun it would do like 15% or something. Another example would be his movement speed. A slight movement speed increase while in sunlight would be cool.

Sorry for posting incorrectly. Thanks for your opinion. I don't think it would be OP since the buff would be so small to notice anyways. Also, the 50/50 stage select is there for that reason. But all of this is hypothetical, just cool to think about.

I suppose so. But what if you play a gadget dude and you choose outside the hall of justice to try and avoid a stage with a bunch of throwable interactibles that would favor a power character? Choosing between interactible abuse and giving Superman Xfactor is really a lose/lose for some of the cast who already struggle to find stages they can be on par to power types on.

Is there any behind the scenes delay between landing from a jump and crouch/blocking? I.e. on the first frame your feet touch the ground, are you able to instantly go into crouch/block?

edit: likewise is there any delay from landing to being able to back-dash?

You know what, when I first had the game, Random Select on the characters would sometimes choose the alt costumes, but now it seems like it doesn't do it anymore.

Is ANYONE else having this issue??

Does anyone have any idea why my Godfall Superman alt still has not unlocked it self? I've completed Story Mode and even got the unlock notification but it still has not unlocked.

Thats really messed up. Most folks with unlock glitches have to shut things off and on again to get them to work, but that is for sync issues with iOS unlocks from what I've seen. I got no clue how to fix this one.

Go to story mode and select the last chapter (which may be the credits) and watch it over again. I had the same problem but the notification showed up again when I did this. Now I can use my Godfall Superman.

I wouldn't say he's that overrated, but he prints money and his franchises tend to produce very interesting characters. His (former) sidekicks alone produce more fanbase than most other straight heroes. Can't argue with success.

And there won't be another Batman movie for a while short of them ACTUALLY getting the JLA movie off the ground. He'll be off the big screen for at least 3-4 years.

As for another Batman Game...why not? Not like Superman has ever produced a good one, and none of the other DC Heroes have enough name value to get by on.

Lots of great points. Batman is one of DC Comics foundation characters. Until Batman stops selling tons of comic books, selling millions of video games units, and grossing over a billion dollars in tickets we will be graced with plenty of the "goddamn Batman". The reality is that DC Comics is a business and since their getting stomped by Marvel they need all the help they can get.

He used to be the best when he was really a detective against Falcone and Maroni real gangsters with some serious crime,
not some stupid bullshit like the joker and those other carnival mutants, that's what Batman is.... a babysitter in carnival world.
I think joker is predictable as hell, you know the wacko is going to kill and with no reason that's it.
Black Mask and Falcone would be the only reason for me to pick Arkham Origins up and nothing more, i hope they don't screw
up the game again and leave the joker out of it to be honest.
