Considering the game isn't even officially out yet, don't panic about this. All we're trying to do is gauge some interest on the topic in order to help tournament organizers like Sweet Johnny Cage and L.I. Joe determine whether or not they should be legal.

In a recent tweet by their event twitter, @ecthrowdown, they made it clear that they are doing their best to determine whether or not to allow these "interactables" in tournament-play. The reasoning for this was a high damage Superman combo dealing 98% damage. That is one life-bar... gone. You get caught again in the same combo or similiar, you can "Clash" to get out of it, but it's the principal here. We feel the general fighting game community who have true desire to play Injustice wants to have the interactables "legal". However, this might be an issue... time will tell.

Below, we have a poll that you may vote on. This poll isn't for anything official. It's to gauge a general opinion of the legality.

They should be legal, hopefully they're legal at Civil War so we can at least see how it is. Imo it's too early to declare them illegal

Way too soon to say. The game isn't even out.

I personally would like to see them stay, as they're an interesting part of the game. That said, if they turn out to be really overpowered then I guess the community should decide.

Although, presumably if it's from a bounce from the environment, this is something all characters can get, so it's not one guy having an advantage over the other guy.

They should not be banned until they're proven to be a TRUE problem. Some guy online does a 98 percent Supes combo in an extremely situational setting: Supes needs to be at the very beginning of the trait, the interactable has to be multiple "bounce offs" to work (only seen it in Fortress so far), opponent literally has to stand there and take it as the interactable is pretty slow and can be hit out of.

Come on, people getting scared off nothing right now.

The community wants the Interactable to stay on, however the damage and the resets with it, might be an issue

Some Interactables should be blockable, i'm just imaging check's interactables resets.

Play Monster Hunter!
If its the video I am thinking of, it was a 91% combo.

Uses two stage interactions, Supermans ship to bounce, then a bounce against Doomsday.

Superman was also in his rage mode which increases his damage.

i made a thread and ranted about this when i was drunk.

i think this HAS to be in tournament play, its not broken and its the best thing ever to be put in the fighting game(okay exagerration but its FUCKING AMAZING)... example batmans stage.. This is gonna make matchups STAGE based, but also its going to playout liek quake where control of the items is IMPLEMENTAL to your game play.

as a rushdown character with gadgets you can use the middle object to fake jump in ( jump backwards with batman and punish with spear or bots???) and jump in on a read to get around zoning and use it as a threat... as a rushdown character with power you can hug it and use it as threat or destroy it for a knockdown and get in but also so the zoner cant abuse it...

as a gadget zoning character i think this is crazy, if you can control when they get close you can get back to full screen and go either direction... you can reuse this throughout the match... but whats cool is if you run away then the rushdown character has it to get in on you with... or the power character has it to knock you down... but what it also cool is if your hugging it you can use it to catch your opponent offguard...

THE CORNER objects give the person a corner escape or corner damage threat... but if read can be punished... this means that actually turtling yourself into a corner might be a viable strategy...

basically all the options netherealm are giving is going to make this game SUPER strategic... ww can turtle and so can batman... the objects actually balance out the game... god i have a huge injustice boner right now..

If you take a look at who did the combo it was tony t and the stuff you need to do to actually hit that amount of damage I don't think will be that realistic

Tired, But Strong
Certainly not, from what I've seen. And I have seen that combo video. If you get the positioning for those two specific interactables while your kryptonian rage is up along with the meter necessary, and can confirm that specific combo, you've earned some serious damage.

I could see player input resulting in rebalancing done to interactable scaling in-combo or perhaps how trait damage boosts affect interactable damage, but I definitely don't think they're broken.

I think that players just really need to actually try to adapt to this feature. Because of the demo, I already visualize each and every interactable in the Gotham stage and where they'll hit/land if the opponent puts them to use. Learning to see their startup and acknowledge them as an option when the opponent is in range of one. I look forward to doing this to more stages. It's something I've never had to really do in a fighter and I'm really enjoying this extra layer in my thought sandwich.

They should be legal. They only seem broken because it's something people aren't familiar with. Sure they can make combos do insane damage and what not, but they're apart of the game and they should NOT be banned this early in the games life. Just because they CAN be banned, that doesn't mean that they SHOULD be banned. SweetJohnnyCage thisisiloveu

remember what happened with SFxT they banned the Gems and the game suffered from it. love it or hate it Injustice was built with these stage elements in mind and if we let the closed minded tourney community have their way with the game then it will be hurt as a result.

Needs to stay. It's an interesting mechanic added to the game so each player must know the stage as well as the match-up.

Tone down the damage IMO. most are unblockable and do tons of damage. If they are toned down then we wouldn't have this conversation. In most cases they are situaltion such as the superman combo. Other player needs to know the stage and be wary that this could happen.
