MK + Injustice Uber XBL Match Making Thread [WORLDWIDE]

So since some dbag took axi0m on XBL when 360 launched (a handle I've had for like 15 years) I managed to snag akaAxi0m for a gamertag. I like it much better than my current Diet Llama, so for all of you folks who have me on XBL FL don't be confused when you see the change.

On a side note what is the best way to do this? Do I just like, spend 2400 MS points changing the saved akaAxi0m to something else, then changing Diet Llama to akaAxi0m, then changing the other one back to Diet Llama to save it? Is there like a lock time on gamertag usage once it's been changed?

If theres no lag, is just about the same. Im tired of people calling me an 'online noob'. SERIOUSLY, grow up, its the same shit unless there is a lot of lag.

That's the thing though, it's not the same. Even if the connection was 100% identical to offline, which it never will be, it still will never be the same. This is the problem with players who have never played in an offline environment, they just don't realize how different it is. Not only is offline much different than online, an offline tournament is even much different from that. So, to say they are anywhere close to "the same" is just an ignorant statement. If you truly have played offline, and in an offline tournament, you would know how fallacious that statement really is.

There is no time lock, my friend changed his GT and his sons GT so they can somewhat match (cute huh) then he changed it again after maybe 2-3 days just to check if his other GT was taken but mistakenly confirmed it.


If you want the "free" way of changing this is getting X amount of people filing a complaint on your GT then u are forced to change it.

Why can't you? Is it not possible that the connection is always bad with the player you're beating "badly" consistently? Even if for arguments sake the connection wasn't always bad or never bad, you're playing online casuals. If you beat me 50-0 online, that means absolutely nothing. In fact, no win online means anything. The only wins that matter are the wins offline. To go even further, even offline wins have little meaning outside of tournaments and money matches. However, I don't want to get too off-topic here. There's a few threads that address this topic, just search around. Here is one that was made by me actually defending online play: http://testyourmight.com/forum/showthread.php?1159-Online-play-is-useful-to-an-extent&highlight=playing+tournaments - I am clearly "out manned" in this thread defending online play, and you will get a lot of different perspectives in there. But if you will notice, I am not defending online wins or anything of the sort, just that online play is useful for practice, etc.

I totally get your point, but I think you are taking it a little far with the 50-0 thing. If I play someone online and they beat me 50 times in a row, I'm about 99.9% sure they are a better player than me and that they would beat me offline to. I think people use this "lag" excuse a little bit to much.

The other night when I was playing and we started debating all this, I basically was told I was winning only because of "lag". I just got back from the PDP tournament and if I would have won my last match against Hugo, I would have been in the top 16.
