so yeah, I've kept the strucutre of the Nightwing forums the same. So yeah, you guize don't have to worry about another Dick entering your lives

So I don't know how many of you guys have watched the Insomnia 48 Recap video, but if you haven't something seriously cool is mentioned. They ran a 32 man tournament using the NYCC build of the game, and the final round came down to a Nightwing mirror match. For me this is great news as an early complaint I had heard about our lovable Dick from many people was that he felt like a jack of all trades but a master of none. He has some projectiles, two different melee stances, good movement via stage interact-ables, etc. It worried some people that he had access to too many tools without excelling in any one area. But the fact that not only one, but two Dicks made it to the finals of one of the first ever IGAU tournaments has alleviated some of those fears for sure. Let's just hope NRS doesn't come swinging that nerf bat around too soon.

Ya I saw that too, good news I guess. Im still waiting for gameplay of NW after NYCC. Dont think weve seen any yet. Hes the only one ( ._.). Very annoying. Who knows what hes like these days in the current build.

Assuming your first main is Deathstroke based on your avatar there seems to be quite a lot of Dick-Stroke crossover. I am no exception as Mr. Wilson will probably be my sub character as well.

Was about to put this in the video thread but I didnt cuz this video shouldn't really be looked at after release.

The video quality and quality of play is incredibly low but I'm pretty sure iv never seen that staff normal at 2:40

THAT KICK IS SOOOOOO SEXY

And it looks like the actual switching of the stances is quick. As soon as the icon changes by the super meter he's in that mode since Bane hits him out of the animation but is in staff stance

So I spoke to nerd josh here at FR and he said full staff night wing plays like a better billy Kane from kof and has a full staff slam that tosses electric for the bounce

Also the netcode is better he said come mk10 it will be fully new code but local scence will run so smooth I'm hopeful for a couple state limit at least lol

Poor Dick, that command normal punch Bane has is pretty awesome looking.

Nigjtwing looks so interesting. Not necessarily my main there are so many character that looks like tons of fun. I played Gen a lot and I love characters that have different styles depending on stances. Wish there were more vids of Nighwing with better players playing him.

I really like how it looks like Nightwing can start combos at range by punishing whiffs with his staff. We're gonna have a really good time.

I LOVE the way staff stance is looking right now. Play some footsies with staff and lead into stance switch escrima combos for the big damage? Yes please.
