22 does hit from that distance and SS leans forward, 22 will hit him out of it before it completely activates.

Also, IMO, Mileena goes 5-5 with Sub and Sonya beats him 6-4

mileena cant touch him and she takes ridiculous risks to get to him as well as a lack of armour

why does mileena need to touch him? she can play the match just like kitana. only thing she doesn't have is a safe way out the corner. who cares if she doesn't have armor? Ice ball gets rolled or tele'd on reaction and then she either gets a combo or pressure.

its all life lead based, whoever gets it first pretty much wins the match.

Mileena can definitely play lame once she gets the lead and keep him out pretty well. sub can also do the same. If she had a safe way out the corner, she'd definitely win the match.

I think it's the clone and the corner put this at 4-6.

Clone hinders Stryker's spacing/footsie game, which is also why I have Jade losing for similar reasons.

Stryker's counterzoning and zoning have a place in this match up, but I feel Sub slightly disrupts those options.




Stryker has good options with a solid armor move to change positions/get out of the corner, gun cancels are good for baiting slides if spaced well. Stryker has good midscreen meterless 40% damage and things like that.


4-6's can sometimes feel like 5-5's because of how close and competitive they are still.


LETHAL also was of the opinion Stryker versus Sub was 5-5 last I recall, but I could be wrong with my opinion.

That was awhile ago, not sure how things would go nowadays with an evolved poking game and better use of Stryker's pressure

I would have to test counters to Subz D4, like idk if Strykers B4 or 3 can wiff punish it or if i can Ex roll toss it on reaction. Without any solid counters to D4 this MU could possibly be 4-6

Could be worth looking into, but i hardly even touch Stryker anymore so it'll be up to you

I totally agree with all of this.
I've also seen how people play her.. and up close you can get a little wreckless. I don't think i've ever seen anyone 100% fully punish exTele every time. Especially when she's 0 on block for her string.

I honestly say its a 6-4 because of corner.... and because of no like decimal things... but yeah its probably more of a 5-5.

Online its in her favor ... no questions. ;)

except kitana also has decent pressure once she gets in and half life combos

she cant play lame without reaching the corner, shes slow as fuck and sub doesnt have to give up his clone setups in order to counter certain wakeups like kitty

At least I'm fully on to a new character now. Brady took down all his youtube videos again, so it kind of sucks that those will never make it here (if they ever would have anyway).

Anyway this might be one of the best Sub Zero matches I've ever seen. It's a must watch, this is one of a kind lol.

its really sad to see those few who are above the regular cut either switch chars or leave, especially when youre as selfish as to TAKE all knowledge back, you can make as much drama as you want, just dont hurt other ppl wanting to lvl up.

its a shame that were becoming like other subforums, probly cause only 4-5 ppl main him here and thats being generous about it, ill keep putting up info tho.

Honestly, you can probably just go read the previous pages because I think that we've milked out just about all that we can about Sub-Zero.

When he does those combos where he ends it short on purpose to throw a tele at the end and then goes right into 4 RH... what do you guys do? Jumping does not work... and I coulda swore I've tried wakeups... but maybe not. Idk, what do you guys do?

I tech roll into clone...or maybe I just clone, but yeah lol, its one of the two

yes. but its still a read. Slide works too but it can be baited with this set up
