UMvC3 has 6 X-men characters with 48 total people. Spider-man, the most popular Marvel property, has 1. So the two most popular Marvel franchises has 7 total people in a 24 char roster for their side, Batman is one from that.

I wouldn't account the total, of Capcom side. I just see it as it has 7 of the 24 for Marvel, so far, Batman has 7 of the rumored 24-28 roster. So it's sorta fair?

7 on a 48 chars game is fine but 7-12 on a 24 chars game is not.

No, it's not. X-Men is a team based series, Batman is a singular entity. Spider-man is a better representation of a DC/Marvel counterpart. Spider-man got one, literally one, and that was Spidey himself. X-Men, who are on and off being X-men, queens, Avengers, etc....got 6.

3 of them had to make a comeback because they were the best team in Marvel 2 and you very well can't have a game without Wolverine. And X-23 just sorta got slapped in.

Yeah that's the thing there's only 4 Women confirmed so far so I'm not given up on the possibility of both just yet lol.

They couldn't even include all the popular main X-Men like Rogue or Nightcrawler because it'd be so easy to over-saturate a roster with X-Men characters seeing as they're so numerous.

If any of you have been on Ed Boon's twitter trail today you would know that he's been doing a "countdown" in the last hour or so as well as saying eariler that there would be a "new screen shot today" and now he has tweeted an image of Killer Croc! Now, this does not confirm him to be playable as this could be part of the story mode in Injustice. Clearly, in this photo Killer Croc is having his way with The Flash! And look who is watching in the background! Non-other than The Riddler & The Penguin! Are they playable? Only time will tell!! Stay tuned to TYM for all the latest info on Injustice: Gods Among Us!

Clearly he's fighting the Flash so he should be playable, but as for Riddler and Penguin I doubt it, they were never really the fighting types.

His fingers are going through Flash, pre-rendered stage transition.

It's obvious this is a cutscene, the models details seem a little too low to be playable characters so i'm guessing they are cameos for a chapter in story mode. if they are fought it'll probably be something like you fight Croc who has banes moveset or something like that just for the story mode. If he was playable wouldn't they design their own version of them not just use arkham city skins and make the models a bit more detailed.​

Just cuz Nightwing has his own series doesn't make him not a Batman character, Wolverine has his own comic but he's still an X-Man. Grundy is not Batman, I've said this many times.

Catwoman and Harley both have their own books as well but that doesn't make them not Bat-related. That'd be silly.
