Maybe it is "politically" wrong to say they both are on the same skill level....

but we play him and he's our friend....... so of COURSE we are going to tout him when we can. They placed the same at FR... so who's to logically say they haven't progressed in skill equally? No one...... but gr8one isn't as prominent in the tourney scene.

We aren't trying to diss 16bit........ but people read it that way. Those people need to learn some reading comprehension and quit egging on something that makes no sense.

I don't think they are, and I have no clue why Smoke is mentioned on there when pretty much everyone in the Smoke community thinks he is in the top 10 characters in the game.

Because they don't understand the character and think that saying a character has legitimate bad match ups is some sort of sin apparently. They don't realize flaws (mainly defensive and in terms of dealing chip) and instead think resets magically happen and that a character with a big-ish hitbox + no armor is easily top 5.

If you've noticed i really don't contribute to stuff like this because it's useless, at the end of the day we know how our characters play better than most. I use Dave as an example mainly because he jokes, but some people act like Dave in a serious manner -.-

Anyways, just for reference, i believe Bit, Khaotik, Gr8, Mr Mileena, Revolver, Trepound, etc know how their characters play better than 85% of this community. If they believe that she loses x amount of match ups or has certain flaws i'll take it. I might not comletely agree but who am i to question that right? Not to mention they're just numbers and some players may lose "good match ups" based on playstyle or tendencies alone.

This is not about gr8. I will never understand why the community hates when people give other players props that they don't agree with. Gr8 had nothing to do with the original point so please don't turn this into a thing about that.

Here is my take on kitty. What matches are truly unwinnable for her? I think she is a character that if we counted .5s would have a hell of a lot of 4.5-5.5's then 4-6's.

They view you guys as bias i guess because he's apart of STB. Just like Khaotik was bias or lying by saying i played a decent Smoke before. I've talked to Gr8 a bit on MKU, i can tell he really doesn't care what people think. The people who have played Gr8 know his true ability, let the haters hate. If people care that much to nitpick posts about him that's saying something in itself.

No ones doubting that bit is the most accomplished Kitana. But saying their are on the same skill level is an accurate statement. I dont see whats wrong with saying that.

she's weird. not many are playing her at her best potential and alot of people aren't fighting her correctly.

I can't think of a word for her situation. Unique is the only word I can think of that describes her credibility.

Kitana is a big boy in this game. That is really all that matters. If you have decent fighting game skills...... a few gimmicks and enough common sense to blow up bad spacing...... you will ROLL people with Kitana.

I don't think people downplay her.... but they don't give her props either. She's in that weird void where....... she can "scrub" out wins....but her GOOD wins almost look the same.

Honestly... she's one of the more balanced in terms of the MK game. Her GOOD stuff isn't armor.... or something dumb. Her dumbest thing is a slow ass string that covers a ton of ground and does good damage. BUT... you can bait and punish and it stops her pressure.

I just feel like she should be the MOLD of MK characters. Maybe in a number list she really sin't top 10...... but that is saying something about all the characters above her.

it's easier to play Auto Pilot Sonya,
you are rewarded for the most part for not doing much, so why go the further step when it's easier to just downplay lol

I think there are a lot of characters right below the top 3 that could be top 5 could not be. While I do believe Sonya is top 5, I can see how someone could say characters like freddy or kl or even smoke are ahead of her. Characters in this game seem to be ing roups, there is a top 4, then a gap, then 5 to 9 are close, then like 10 to 13, and so on. I guess that is why they have groupings like S, A+ etc. There is no denying that sonya is a really good character with a lot of good matchups and very few bad ones though.
