i would say no, because those inputs were used to avoid counteracting with specials (Jax's DU4 and Sindel's DF1)

I tried all of 3 inputs. Double checked to be sure and checked 5 times ddu3 and ddd3, and they don't work.

I just got Kratos's Toasty Boost to go off on my first attempt doing BBD2 (no buffering, I hit pause when Dan popped up, unpaused and did input as quickly as I could so if it isn't BBD2 it is something damn close).

I tried BBD2 because I did my own spreadsheet doc to record all the ones found so far for myself and I placed all the chars in alphabetical order (as someone else here suggested doing in the beginning sorry forgot name) but placed Kratos at the end of the list after Sub-Zero following the pattern Kratos completed the BBD bracket's 3,4,1,2 pattern so I went for it and bingo.

Can someone else confirm this for me? So far the Raiden-Reptile-Scorpion-Sektor group was the only one that broke the 3,4,1,2 pattern on an alphabetical order listing chart. We still don't know Cyber-Sub's, Jade's, Kano's or the DLC's yet so who knows if this will remain true for the rest but it's a start, right?

Got my first toasty boost combo today, was during a match too..

i landed the bnb 1 bar 90%. but after the uppercut i didnt do the toasty straight away. i got him with 3,3~net first, then did the toasty and it still worked! i ended up doing a f+2~xray afterwards while he was caught in the net lol.

So it looks as though you can catch them with the 3,3~net first and still do the toasty afterwards!

yea it been said you have till end of dan saying toasty to start your inputs but in one or two of the videos and even when ive gotten some myself,its seems you have longer alright.
i dont think you dont have to go panic mode trying to enter it in time (minus your opponent trying to get his in first lol)

I've landed the toasty boost with smoke on my brother a few times , paused to explain it to him and that I would be closing out the round with an X-ray, and then proceed to do so lol

Raiden 57% Toasty Boost Combo MK9

Raiden is a dear character of mine. He was part of my original 4 that i started out with in MKDA (Scorp Sub Ken and Rai). Since then we've had a lot of memories. Been toying with this setup for almost a week now. Very grateful to JAP and all who tried to help with Raidens.

A community toasty boost combo video project is not a bad idea. Something to think about. The community all worked together on finding it, so why should the combo video be any different? Do as you please.

Sweet thanks for the props. Happy I was able to actually contribute something. Been lurking here awhile sponging up strategies and stuff finally decided to join and post. Also been trying to help with the great Toast Boost search but well my luck BLOWS so Dan Forden and I hardly get to see each other, lol. I was shocked when I tried playing as Kratos to go for it and he actually came out and then it actually worked first try. I was like "Holy Shit something actually went according to plan." Followed immediately by a combination of Check and JAP's thoughts of "Wait... that was actually the combination? Seriously? Okay so NO buffering Toasty Boosts."

I feel your pain Check but don't worry your Champ status is well documented (I dare say "Confirmed" ::insert Dr. Evil smug pinky pose:: ) and will absolutely remain so.

And now back to my regularly scheduled program of kicking my friends' asses with my main man, Scorpion, and failing to get Dan Forden to come out and play!
