And by "most" you mean only the FGC, and even then it's not true. The Kameos have no issues at all, they are implemented exactly as they should be. As being an algamation of the Variation system and MK11 assist Konsumables, they are done exactly as they need to be. And if they do go in MK1 that's not because they are "bad" but because NRS/WB would try something new, and maybe they will comeback in MK13 but just in an expended form, just like MKX had the Variations and MK11 had the Kustom Variations
Nope, not at launch either. SF6 and Tekken 8 had multiple issues at their launch also, and MK1 has the most friendly monetization out of all the big 3. Not only MK1 has no battle pass like the other 2, but SF6 also charged skins for 15% and also COLORS (not full skin bundles) for 24$, and these were colors from a series of 3, meaning you had to pay 24$ each, essentially paying the cost of an entire other game, 72$, just to get all 3. And Tekken 8 also tries to implement loot boxes (real ones, not RNG boxes that cost in-game currency that you can earn by just playing, but these that cost real money) progressively.
Saying that MK1 monetization is "aggressive" when SF6 and Tekken 8 doing this shit is beyond crazy.
And of course, no rooms because no one used rooms in MK11 after year 2, and no one other than the super hardcore FGC will ever use practice matchmaking, even SF players don't always use it, so why NRS/WB should do it? Waste of time and money.
