I just started learning Havik. Is there any juice to ending combos in his F122 (hit advantage 49) to try and set up his Neoplasm or Seeking Neoplasm? Just a random thought I had, I'm assuming this has been looked into at some point.

Haven't played Havik in a while, but I believe F122 sends them far away. Ending in 2,1 gives you 38 advantage and leaves you right at your feet so ready to be mixed on wake-up.

Thanks. Only reason I thought of F122 was that it (I think) completely safely sets up a Seeking Neoplasm. The distance is still close enough that I think a B22 could connect after a dash. Plus it technically gives a bit of corner carry, for what that's worth.

you can double dash~b22 after f122 knockdown. if the opponent doesnt backdash on wakeup, they will get locked down by it. but barely anyone ever backdashes against a fullscreen knockdown though. when you need a win against someone without great matchup knowledge, do that :coffee:. bf3 is best used after full screen bf1 imo. some chars can blow it up though.

Im not sold on the things I saw BUT if I had to guess and hope...

I want the low scoop to be a mid grab or low

The air sweep MB move to be overhead to compliment the new low or grab

Looks like neck snap is 1 bar? These are or would be welcoming BUT I want to see more. Hopefully the next kast will show more core wise

To me it seemed like the 22 string was like a legit mix now. its either s2 overhead or s2 low, right? The low pop up didn't seem too high so I don't think he'll get a ton of damage off it. Also it wouldn't surprise me if the low was unsafe or they tweaked the 222 string.

Ok boys and girls, gotta catch-up on the Kombat cast. But I see havik got a low pop up now????. Hmmm. Can't wait to see what It can do

So am I seeing this right, that after Havik spends 2 bars on his tether, he can then spend another bar on it? Is that to avoid scaling?

Hmm, i wonder how long the duration lasts. Like after the neck snap combo it would be cool to bombard my opponent with EX projectiles. But if I only then have time to fire off like two of them that doesn't seem worth it.

Not to mention if i land the hit after a EX neck snap combo the EX bf1 combo would drop or do less damage than the meterless, no...?

I worry about the practicality of some of these buffs, I guess is my point.

Now that he has the new low launcher, and new air spike kick, I think the play would be to avoid the arm rip launcher since its so slow. Get some super fast burst damage and then spam his EX projectiles? Idk, since we don't have access to his new moves yet so all we can do is theory fight rn

Actually I just re watched the match vs noob now and was about to edit my post lol, but it looked like spending the third bar to EX neck snap greatly increases the neck snap combo damage. Like the guy dropped it, but even without any kameo or finisher he was at 27%, whereas normally mid screen I'm getting 17% off raw snap. I can't tell if thats just because db1 has been sped up or if EX neck snap is what makes it possible.

Really makes Havik a glass cannon with three bars. Reminds me a lot of mk9 quan. Like they can use breaker to get out, but if they don't have it thats like a 70% combo punish. And I'm just thinking off the top of my head a normal 11 starter bnb with Mavado here. Vs most the cast I find it fairly easy to get neck snap with Mavado

B(b+kameo)22xxdb1EX,dash 2,2xxbf1,micro dash f1xxbf1,block+b2(quancheezey extended range tech)xxnew low scoop,b2xxbf2

2 bar version possibly doing an air normal into the ex kick bounce and then a button into bf2.

With the db1 being faster i wonder if there is any string that can combo into it without kameo to bridge the gap.

Really nice changes for havik the above combo works the gravity at the end is very tight so this is the new version optimal for 1 bar.

At the end of the combo you regenerate half the kameo bare so its essentially a 1 bar 1 kameo combo.
