I would love that except Sonya's outfit, it was stupid as hell in MK9. Think SF6, they have a good balance imo. But alas, it's 2023. Women can't look sexy anymore, because you can't be sexy and strong (according to idiots). While men can still be shirtless and it's not considered sexy. Let's not forget 'battle appropriate clothing' for women, aka, a ton of totally not encumbering layers coupled with wedges and heals. Yeah, that probably works GREAT for martial arts fights.

Although I hate her default MK9 costume, I actually really like her MK9 alternate. I think the tank top and shorts combo with the hat and shades looks great.

I personally do like the characters to be more "realistically" dressed for combat with a touch of stylism rather than absolutely not dressed for combat at all. I also appreciate the women being less sexualized. I see it as humanizing. To each their own though. And you CAN be sexy and strong but...you can tell when it's gratuitous and in poor taste (MK9 for me)

With the topic of sexualization, I think if they’re gonna do it, it has to be equal. The men were hot for no reason in MK11 while some of the women… Skarlet and Sindel were probably the only women I feel were the most sexualized out of the bunch we got in MK11. I’m not asking for MK9 level of sexiness, but I think MK11 is the right direction they should approach it. There needs to be a balance.

I think Mk11 did a good job of this with a few of the female characters. But they shouldn't be afraid to give fun sexy OPTIONAL costumes to all the girls in Mk12.
