The dude with Kitana for an avatar says Sub Zero needs nothing. You of all people should know he does.
I still strongly believe Komplete Edition will have balance changes.
Ironically enough, I don't main Kitana, I just mess around with her. Subzero just got an armored slide and an xtra 10 frames on his freeze. Why dont we just make his regular slide a safe launcher. Also, his ice clone should be able to walk around and throw iceballs as well. I think that would be pretty fair
Hilarious. Except slide sucks as anything but a kombo ender as of right now, and he never should have gotten armor, slide should slide under projectiles. Like a slide. And even if you play Kitana you should understand. As my picture and sig suggest, I main Ermac, and I KNOW it is hard for Sub. He has about as much of a chance as a snowball in hell when he fights strong zoners. The ten frames is great, too bad most of the "trades" he gets against Kitana, Mileena, etc are in the air and he doesn't have time to get over there and do any real damage. He isn't fine, especially since it would be so easy to make him a top character again. NRS keeps taking and taking, giving to other characters, and then when they realize how screwed Sub Zero is they gave him a peppermint and a pat on the head. Now they need to give him some of the BS everyone else got.
Trolling aside. I completely see your point. But just because sub has a few tough MU's doesnt mean he needs buffs. I was maining Jade along with skarlet for along time. Im not talking just playing around with Jade either. I seriously studied how to play every MU with the current tools she has. You wanna talk hard MU's? Jade v. Kenshi. Undoubtedly the worst MU in the game. My point is, why should a character like sub, who has his fair share of bad MU's get buffs when a character like Jade, who has trouble with half the cast exists? Every FG has chars who arent tournament viable, but that doesnt mean they should get buffs.
Sub vs KL is 8-2 at best, KL's advantage. That is horrible. Unwinnable. And he is free for 8-10 characters right now AT LEAST depending on who you ask. There are definitely characters right now, Jade especially, who need to be reevaluated. Sub Zero has a soft spot in my heart because he is one of my long time favorites, and it really bothers the hell out of me he could be top 5 easy if NRS would do THREE things. Gets me very salty.
That is more J360 being a good player. Sometimes you have to figure out how to separate a character from its player.

I honestly think Stryker is more tourney viable than a lot of characters right now. I'll tell you that much.

I honestly think Stryker is more tourney viable than a lot of characters right now. I'll tell you that much.
I feel he's kinda like Adon in the early days of SSF4. Long time considered low-mid tier by most simply because a lot of players didn't know how to play proper footsies and lacked fundamentals. Then people realized most of Adon's matchups were actually 5-5s and he had no real bad/unwinnable MUs so we started seeing him more in tournaments.
Stryker has good zoning, air control, good footsies, safe strings, good meter building, decent damage output. I mean COME ON guyz, Stryker is basically Ryu with a roll attack that goes under shit and he can cancel a hadoken -that travels at the speed of bullets mind you- into dash cancel throw, cross-over jump, crouching forward, AA roundhouse, stance switch block or any special move whenever the fuck he wants. I sometimes feel like I'm the only one that realizes how freaking awesome that is.
If Daigo played Stryker he would wreck people up. I'm sure of it.
You forgot to mention that Adon had one of the best wakeup defenses in the game because he got off the ground earlier than most characters. EDIT: i wouldnt put Sindel in bottom 5 cause i really feel that she has some tricks up her sleeve. I really hope that someone will show up and show us what she can really do.

10 frames extra freeze doesnt mean shit, it was to compensate for the dash nerf, anyone would prefer the normal dash over the 10 freeze frames. the armor slide is not even that useful, he now just gets out of some pressure and it has its uses here and there but its really not much.
