I have never rage quit or quit any game. Why would you?

Idgaf, lol, it is only a video game - don't get it twisted with real life. Btw, the game/NRS allow you to quit or forfeit a match without pulling the cable so I opt out when:
-my opponent wins last round with a kb/wants to fatal.
-I get tired or annoyed.
-When real life calls.

Nothing wrong with quitting a game when you want/need too. At least I don't cry nerf on the forums...

I quit very regularly. As soon as I know that last fight is over: options, QUIT. I'm eager to get to the next fight. So much time is wasted staring at menus while trying to connect. So I'm really not interested in waiting through the last fatal blow, the fatality, and then sitting there to watch my currency stats or whatever that BS is.

And yeah, if I'm full screen against Skarlet, 5% life, final match. Sometimes I'll be like "ehhhhh, whatever, I'm gonna move on." And I'll quit. I'm not angry. I'm not raging. I'm just not excited about continuing. If there were an option to request a rematch, I'd stay.

I used to quit on my friends all the time in UMK3. It was just a funny thing to do when you were in a 4 person lobby where everyone was talking shit and having fun.

I definitely used to rage quit too though. Don’t anymore but definitely don’t care if someone quits on me. I mean I will probably make fun of them but that’s about it. After UMK3 and being rage quit on like 10,000+ times, I stopped caring a long time ago. And I just assume the people who rage quit on me these days are as old as I was when I was doing it, 16-18 (or younger tbh).

If someone is so much better than me that he's basically in practice mode, it means I'm not enjoying that game and there's nothing I can learn from it, so I'll just find someone else.

I feel there's never ideal situations when you're competing with someone that has a chance to beat you. It's about testing yourself. I don't believe in quitting under any competition circumstances.

I can handle someone being disrespectful, but when someone is being toxic to the magnitude that they're using racist slurs, or homophobic slurs, or something of that nature, to me that crosses the line. I'm not going to waste my time engaging socially with someone like that. If you can't avoid being that kind of toxic player online you have no business playing with others and should be banned.

I can relate to this 100% but it never happens in MK11 since I'm always in a private party. If someone sends me a message to me afterwards with that kind of shit I just block them and move on with my life.

I got mad at myself for losing or doing something stupid that lost me the game and I want to jump right into the next match since there isn't a rematch button.

I revel in taking on these types of ass-hat players, even when they beat me. I get my clown on regardless of a win or a loss so it's a win/win either way. On the flip side, I actually feel more accomplished when my opponent rage quits. I feel like I have gotten so deep into their heads that they become hopeless and have run out of all options.

It would be, if you can read them perfectly each time, But one's an overhead and the other is a low so if they switch between them randomly it's pretty hard to guess right all the time.

I've never forcibly disconnected myself during a match but i have gone to the character select screen then quit after a match if its intolerable to play because the opponents connection is horrendous in which i don't considered rage quitting.
If i happen to be disconnected during a match it's because my ISP has acted up on its own.
Pressing start and clicking on quit during finish him feature is still considered rage quitting imo so i don't even do that.

I've only really rage quit once in this game so far, and I guess it was more of a dodge at that. I was on a nasty losing streak in KL and was mad tilted. Then I got matched with somebody who was like, 50/4. I just closed the whole game at that point, figuring I needed time to cool down. I still took the loss, so I'm sure he got the win, but yeah. Not my proudest moment.

I understand that. I know that have the same kind of start up. You can fuzzy them and punish. If you publish them and eat that health up you can start your own pressure.

I only play ranked and I hardly ever quit so I don't miss out on the koins at the end.
I do rarely quit though when I get hit with a fatal blow to lose the set. I just quit to save time and get back into another match quicker

This for me mostly. A few times i've come across players like that and i'll just drop the controller and let them have their practice mode dummy. No point in trying to do anything when i've literally got 0% chance at getting a hit in let alone winning a round. But other times i'll quit just because i can't be stuffed waiting for the guaranteed loss.

And i don't see what the big deal is. As far as i'm aware, if you quit (not disconnect), the other player still gets his finisher (if it's not before the end of the game), they still get their points and they still get the win. So whats the problem?

Yep. You quit at Finish Him, you don't have to wait 5sec + fatality + win pose + currency count. It's a small amount of time, but it does add up over time. People might say it's because they're salty, and there is that to some degree, but just getting to the next match as quickly as possible is what it's about.

I may be cruel but part of my allure to the zone style is the frustration it creates. I actually thrive off listening to people loose their damn minds trying to get in on me. If they quit that’s just the best. It’s like I take their soul, and something barbaric inside me gets off on that.
