I don't watch the Kombat Kasts anymore. Nor should anyone really. The only way to force NRS's hand is to not play the game and not tune into their broadcasts. But doubtful enough people will do that.

ive done that a couple times too. my KL record isnt very good but my rank is decent because i can beat the solid players of higher ranks. i just lose to the nonsensical online play
The funny thing is it's always these tryhard asshats who do this then when they DO barely beat you(always the Scorpion, Geras and Black players), have the balls to teabag you. Scrubs...I've also noticed if they quit normally, you'll get the win including rage quitting, leaving early etc but if you get a desync error that means they killed their internet or did something fishy because those I had done to me 5 times and all 5 times did not get the win I should have.Yeah I had a Scorpion and an Erron Black either pull their cable or altF4 (I dunno if doing that will do the same thing as pulling the cable in this), and I didn't get anything from the set. I beat them with Kano too, with no real combos.
I noticed later on when I fulfilled my 5 ranked sets for the daily challenge thing, it didn't seem to count it...so I'm at 4/10 still. So I don't think that always works correctly.

Quoting for accuracy. This is what happens when you either don't get the win and the points (almost every time), or you actually receive a loss (less common). You get the win when people quit, not when they pull.

Same here, i'll quit at the finish him screen 90% of the time if it's a lost set. For no reason other than i don't want to wait to see a fatality for the 100th time, or people stuffing about trying to do one or just being dicks.

For some of us playing casual (it could even be called unranked mode) just has no purpose. I literally don't give a damn about a game about beating other people online that doesn't have a ladder/ranked system. If I'm playing on the couch with friends than yea, sure but online? I wouldn't spend an hour in a competitive game if not for actually competing. The mindset is different (sure to the point where it gets ridiculous and people pull their cables to keep their points) but, to use your words, the lack of compromise of playing casual just feels like a waste of time. I literally play much worse on casual because I don't care and there's nothing at stake.this .... even casual seems more fun, with no compromise on it .... this online plague on KL will never end, because these shitholes think that an online ranking system worths some major value as competition .... and do any kind of filthy strategy to keep their false faked record protected from real loses, lol
KL does not worth your time, if you seek for serious competition ..... people who are losers in real life and play MK11 with this "never losing no matter what" philosophy , and so, justify themselves doing the "plug the fuck cable out" dirty move , will fuck up this mode more and more, wait and see !
