I make videos about biscuits from local eateries. Anybody got any recommendations, we've already hit some of the local majors;

All of what you quoted is insanity except the raisins one.

Raisins are great and I'll fight any one of you about it. Come at me.

It's all so very confusing.
Salt, Pepper, grill to medium rare or medium. Rest for 10 mins and eat.

Salt, pepper, cook in pan in butter basting until medium rare. Put in oven to finish for 2-4 mins. Rest for 10 mins and eat.

Any other ways and you're not eating steak.

You sir, know what you are about. I *sometimes* eat my steak rare instead of medium rare, but typically only when I have some exceptional steak that I'll be cooking more of at a later date. It helps familiarize me with the taste and texture a little more.

Conversely, If I'm dealing with cheap steak or some such, I like to make a simple blue cheese butter or something to fill the gap that cheaper steaks tend to leave.

Don't misunderstand them. I know some people, even my lil bro, who don't like the cheese itself. Other people, like one of my buddies, don't like the coffee. And vice versa. It's in their DNA that trigger them when they taste even an ounce of them.

I personally don't like the fishes with the fucking bones in them.

Sugar is the work of satan. Sugar is bad.
There's no satan and bullshit. Sugar is nothing but a natural mineral. If you want to blame someone for the sugar, blame Mother Nature itself.

I mean trying my hardest not to but the stereotype is true....

I fucking love potatoes!
Like it's embarrassing going to England and when getting good at a bar ask about their Potato options before their meats ones
Potatoes are top tier, fuck the stereotypes.

No real reason to eat a dried grape, lol. There's no taste in those things man.

I'm not serious. I just make fun of them cuz thats what friends do. i understand people are different..
One thing i cant understand tho, is when fools eat cereal..but find it absurd to drink the rest of the milk. JUST DRINK THE REST OF IT..IT MAKES NO SENSE! Lol

Well, true. I can't think of a reason as of why they don't like these stuff. My buddy said that he doesn't like bitter stuff. My bro doesn't like cheese, because there's something in it that he's disgusted of. And I don't know why they don't like them, even though they're delicious, and/or good for the health. :S

I agree that raisins and most dried fruit are inferior to the regular fruit. But that doesn't make raisins itself bad. Plus, drying the fruit lets you use it in ways that aren't normally possible.

Ex. Raisin bread pudding

Thank you! Some people just don't know how to eat steak.

Don't get me wrong, a nice montreal seasoning works if you're:
A. Making it yourself
B. Making it spicy
C. Someone who obviously doesn't know you gave you steaks that you'd never purchase for yourself and you need to eat them in front of them and mask the texture/toughness with something.

I'm not a fan of bleu cheese, but that's really just me. I prefer either plugra or kerrygold for finishing a steak.

@EntropicByDesign what's your favorite cut? Some people prefer fillet mignon, however, I really like ribeye and new york strip. When you get dry-aged prime cut, that's just the best.
Porterhouse and TBone are my favorite cuts. TBone has so much flavor, especially around the bone.

Have you ever had marrow butter on a steak? I dont know exactly how its made, but I worked in a gourmet kitchen many many years ago and the chef there, a complete lunatic coke/pill/anything he could slam addict, used to take the bones out of tbones and such and he'd crack them and scrape the marrow out, do something with/to it, and make a kind of butter out of it. Its been so long I dont know if he cooked it or what, but it was quick.. and he'd make us all steaks they were charging 60-70$ a plate for, and coat them with a tiny bit of that marrow butter - it was STRONG - and the staff would all sit down to a dinner at the end of a crazy night, before the cleanup and shit began. Or in the case of the all or late-night event rooms being used, before the shit hit the fan.

I was like 15, I had lied and said I was 17, to get that job, and it was my first introduction to good food. Changed my life.

Can't top the Fillet Mignon man
I can't really argue with it, it's a top tier cut for sure. It's just not my favorite. I love a good marbled ribeye.

Yeah, marrow butter is awesome. Not diffucult to make, just time consuming.

What's funny is that when I was a kid (I'm dating myself here), skirt steak was considered cheap crap. Now Skirt is one of the prime cuts and more expensive. Also one of my favorites. Great for marinades if you like steaks like that. The folds hold the marinade the best.
