I'm stuck here at work. Just twirling around in circles in my chair with my pen in my mouth. People staring at me. My boss shaking her head telling me to turn down my headphones cause she don't want to her cells theme music from dbz right now because she wants to play dbfz too.

I've never had the urge to cheat on my woman till today.

You do NOT need to beat Story mode to unlock Andriod 21. Idk if it’s the version I got, but I could download her and I can play as her now. Also, if you pre-ordered you can download SSGSS Goku/Vegeta.

I’m just messing around doing all the “quests” to get all this zeni right now.

MAAAAAAN! Go into the Combo challenges. It puts EVERYTHING into perspective on each character. This game is BRILLIANT with all the modes they have done, and i only played 2 and half hours.

I hope Hit and Kid Buu are as awesome to play as they look like they are.

Assuming they both work out, I just gotta choose my anchor - though I guess Kid Buu can run anchor as well? Hit really seems like a good point.

So, assuming Hit on point and Kid Buu running Mid or Anchor, I'll need either a mid or anchor. Goku Black is super high on my list.. 21 is someone I want to check out.. but 18 looks dope too, so does 16 honestly. Trunks.. Quite a few characters I'm interested in as my 3rd pick, but some arent strong as anchors, and will require some re-arranging.. but I really want to lead with Hit.

Ok, so i only touched the surface cuz i only minimal time before i went to bed, but HIT....WOOOO OOOOO! He's a mind fuck type character. SET UPS, SET UPS, SET UPS! HIT HIT HIT!! His attacks are so fast and can reach long distance because he teleports closer every hit. Probably the most technical character in the game (thus far) He has like a rekka stance attack and u can do 2 types of versions. And each version has 3 attacks. Light medium and heavy do different attacks in each version. ITs ALOT but its really not difficult at all.

I think you would really like him, he's fucking bad ass. COMBO MISSION/CHALLENGE is A MUST! Its one of the BEST modes to really help learn your character and the basic manual combos in general for each. So helpful. Maaaan this game....THIS FUCKING GAME!

dbfz makes so much fun. imo it will not only kill inj2, also sf5. probably any fighting game atm and i dont see how that is gonna change lol. at least this year is all about dbfz. if arcsys and namco keep the game smart enough alive, it will probably rule the fgc for the next years.

the last time we had such an hype in the fgc was with the sf4 release in 09 and that game lived for years.

Appreciate the advice. Yeah, everything about Hit is amazing. I got a link from our guys here to watch his episodes too, and even in the show he's dope as fuck. He's the currently the central pillar of my team, like hands down coolest character I have seen in the entire game.,. So anything I do is built around him, with Kid Buu kinda rolling in 2nd place.

I think its too different to kill SFv. There is absolutely a lot of overlap, but SFV also appeals to people looking for a very different experience. Now, I dont see how MvCI survives this AT ALL though. It's a team fighter than by all accounts is 100% better in every single way. Provided the game isn't mismanaged or something weird I can see it absolutely ruling the anime and team fighting game worlds.

What I like about the game from a thematic standpoint is that this will absolutely bring new players into the FGC. It feels like so many games release and grab some people, but they stay casual and never really make that jump into the FGC proper. It just seems like so much of the FGC are older players and new blood can be pretty rare.. but DBFz is going to pull players in from a TON of different angles and it looks accessible enough and content full enough, and certainly has the premise, to grab, keep and convert new players into the FGC proper.

I am extremely excited for the future of the FGC as a whole with this game a driving force behind that optimism.

Honestly, i been feeling the same way once i touched the beta and saw soooo much hype about this game. It feels fun like Smash bros and that game is ICONIC that NEVER gets old. This game has the potential to be that iconic game that delivers the FUN FACTOR! THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF ANY FIGHTING GAME! Injustice and SFV dont deliver the fun that this game does. AND we're getting SC6 later this year!? WOOOO OOOOO! Namco Bandai is taking over this year!

Np man. That's what im here for BTW his manuals are very basic and nothing special, because his moves are technical for ground combat.

I'm jealous I just got back from a month long vacation but I forgot to deposit my Check when I got back. So now I have to wait until midnight-2am ish for my money to clear.

OH! AND ANOTHER THING! Ive noticed they implemented this "Ring" system. I guess ppl can create a small room within the server room, and have matches. Has anybody experienced those and how those work exactly? Also, wtf is ARENA MATCH? So many game modes lol

Game still isnt unlocked in Steam. Gonna be hyper pissed if this is like, noon in some other timezone and its three+ hours off. Steam page says less than an hour... but its said that for 20m now.

How's the training mode in this game? Are there little nuggets of useful mechanics like recording features, frame data or hit confirm shaders?

I played with it just a tad bit. But maybe i should make a video on it when i get home actually

So far, i noticed it shows the characters stun bar once hit. I believe it shows after a hit, how long the opponent is in stun before attacking. So thats really helpful to know. I know there's a record feature, but other than that i need more time to look more into it

The ONLY negative thing about this game as of now is i noticed i kept getting kicked out of the server randomly just walking around with your lil DB character. So the servers are not 100% stable but that could change very soon since ive been hearing a patch is coming. But fighting against somebody online has been really solid so far.

Has anybody experienced getting randomly kicked out of servers ?Question mark?
