I played with it just a tad bit. But maybe i should make a video on it when i get home actually

So far, i noticed it shows the characters stun bar once hit. I believe it shows after a hit, how long the opponent is in stun before attacking. So thats really helpful to know. I know there's a record feature, but other than that i need more time to look more into it

2 more hours. Just to more hours to tear the lab apart.

I hope it's not a basic training mode though. That would suck. Dying to test out all the guard cancel stuff and sparkling tech. Aslo I want see if I can use asisst before my opponent drops from max damage to extend the combo's with out using too much meter.

I'm going to go Dr. Gero in the lab and see if I can create a few monsters of my own.

I wish it had menu like other games .... But I guess i will have to get used to walking around there lol Btw anyone knows how ranked matchmaking works ? It connects you only with ppl from lobby you are currently in ? Or lets say if you pick europe it will not connect you with usa player ? Or it does not matter where you are at ?

Thats a very good question. I know in the beta, regardless of what room you were in, it just paired you up with anybody from everywhere. I think in this final build, you're only paired to whoever is in the room with you. It also seems like you can set up private rings up to 3 people (I think) thats locked with a password. YEAH soooo much shit i need to figure out. But i think i just might make an depth video of everything i find.

Well but it doesnt make sense to pair only with ppl in your room . Also when you go to matchmaking it says this is a WORLD match where you can connect and fight with ppl around the world .

It pairs you all around don't worry, the lobby exclusive stuff is arena match and the ring match.
From messing with it it's like an animated lobby basically, you can make it private with a pass where people can find it, or you can make it open where people walking around can see the ring and join. Also through the ring mode you can make a party room where 6 players join and each player plays a character in a 3v3 match.

The ONLY negative thing about this game as of now is i noticed i kept getting kicked out of the server randomly just walking around with your lil DB character. So the servers are not 100% stable but that could change very soon since ive been hearing a patch is coming. But fighting against somebody online has been really solid so far.

Has anybody experienced getting randomly kicked out of servers ?Question mark?

On a separate note, I guess I will be unlocking Majin 21 at some point during next week. The story mode is very tedious...I can only do it in very small doses.

u dont need to walk around, u can use l2 to navigate as well.

I feel u on that. The first couple of matches give ya the jitters, but once u get things in motion, you will be aight

I would def practice it out in Arcade or Story mode first if you feel you're too nervous for online. OR do casual matches

It's all part of the process man. Aside from just the quick tutorial mode, I didn't get a chance to play the beta, so I feel like I'm a bit behind.

I still need to figure the game out: how to play the neutral, when to dragon rush, how to punish a dragon rush, what to do when someone is just pressing buttons, etc.

Also, I need to figure out someone to use with Yamcha. Right now it looks like he really needs a beam assist to help him get in, so I've been slapping Goku black in there.

EDIT: One of the things that is getting me killed online is not being able to raw tag when needed. You're supposed hold the assist button, right?

Crap, I thought the super dash was named Dragon Rush. People are lower levels love to abuse the dash button. It looks like some 2Hs also punish it, but I need to learn that timing. For some reason Yamcha can also punish them on block with wolf gang fist, I thought the super dashes were supposed to plus?

You do NOT need to beat Story mode to unlock Andriod 21. Idk if it’s the version I got, but I could download her and I can play as her now. Also, if you pre-ordered you can download SSGSS Goku/Vegeta.

I’m just messing around doing all the “quests” to get all this zeni right now.

Just got my steam copy, just been in training mode so far but it seems pretty damn cool. I have no idea how to play anime games let alone on how to build a team. Are there characters that are leads and anchors and such?

RIGHTEOUS that you got your copy Picking teams are not really in depth like past Marvel VS games where you choose your assist attack and character order. None of that shit matters because each character only has on assist each. You choose your main person you want to go out first, then your other two. You can switch into your teammates by holding either assist button, whichever partner you want out.

Team is just based on how YOU make combos effectively and your play style. For example, if you're more of a rushdown character but dont have a fireball beam attack to get in, then you might want to have a character on your team with that assist. Hope that makes sense. We're all basically learning together

Gotcha thanks, just gonna try to play it my own way then and just have fun with trial and error team stuff. I am trying Krillin, Vegeta and hit right now and am gonna spend all night figuring shit out. Vegeta prob gonna get switched out though for a android probably.

Np man! Vegeta is a really good starter because he has all the tools for every situation, good combo potential, and easy execution. Him and Goku are very good to start off just so you can feel out the basics of the games as far as moving from auto combos to manual combos. And that new COMBO CHALLENGE mode they have for each character is PERFECT for you to feel out each character. Easy to complete, get a basic knowledge of game mechanics, and you get Zeni for each completion
