Well DAMN! I didnt even know u can punish super dash with Down strong (DH) Good to know ;)

Second, that R1 is basically a counter throw to ppl who block all the time and can be used to force the opponent to switch. Not sure how to punish, im guessing super dash is fast enough to counter it. Still learning as i go :)
DH is immune to air attacks and super dash is an air attack. All i know lol

Second....the stronger ppl i face, the more nifty combos i learn from others doing it to me. Except....im still trying to find out how to teleport behind somebody. I think somebody was doing it WITHOUT using meter. Is that cheating or another hidden mechanic Uncle JBeezY doesnt know about ?Question mark?

Med + hard is tele right? But without meter is absurd idk. Unless its character specific maybe. I only use 18, goku, and gohan

Thats what i thought too, but this person kept doing the shit over n over n over. Im pretty sure that muthafucka's bar of meter was NOT even a level 7. Because the M+H causes 2 bars to use.

Whateva....i still beat his ass and just got into Freiza Clan Rank. HEEEEEEEY! MOVING ON UP!

I don’t know man, when it comes to combos I don’t know very much. I need a training mode.
I think i maaaaybe figured it out. Doing a down H in the middle of an air combo causes the opponent to fly upward into a hard knockdown which leaves an opportunity for you to follow up. Still learning the shit as i go, but OOOOOO learned a sweet ass combo with Kid Buu.

QCF (quarter circle forward) Ki (x) and he does that transform your enemy into candy. RIGHT AFTER hes about to spit the opponent out, quickly do QCF R2 into his combo, and the opponent will eat all that shit as it comes up, leaving your opponent right in front of you to apply more pressure. FUCKING BRILLIANT! I LOVE MY BUUUUUU! <3

So im switching up my third to Gohan (Adult) and he has the potential to be OP as fuck! BUT im not too sure on exactly how to use him. I know his QCF R2 is supposed to unlock his hidden potential power n make him stronger, BUT how in the hell do you do his Level 3 super and his Kamaha wave super??

I qc back and r2 I believe l. Adult gohan is sick... but I always roll gohan and goku.

So how is the game supposed to work. I'm having success. Against masher I just take a step back particularly with buu. I'll 22 realize it didn't hit they will do whatever and I'll just re apply 22 pressure or do the arm grab on a jump or something. I'm trying to find a use for the circle button but I can't. I go to punish a dash and I eat a light attack. The up smash seems easier to tech out of as well. Will there eventually be frame data out. Or naw. Are the broke things going to be weird discoveries like in storm 4 where in a bbbbbbbbbbbbbb combo one of the pains will do a push that catches substitutions? I feel like just some basic fighting game knowledge is helping me out here but I wish knew more what I should be doing.

It’s not too good man. Watch high level matches and see how often it’s done. They use it in specific situations such as whiff punish, avoiding zoning, while their assist makes it safe, etc.

I'm.. relaxed? Like I said I know there are answers to it, but it's a cool idea implemented poorly imo. I'm not talking about scrubs doing it fullscreen all day that shit's free, but when it's done by players that aren't total garbage it's just idk.. kinda dumb. Beats too many things for little risk, especially if the opponent is in the air.
The risk/reward on it is wonky coz you can only punish it during its animation, on block it's basically neutral as they can block or do whatever they want after.

By the end of the beta I had a "fuck your DDs" team with Cell/Buu/Frieza coz 97% of the beta was just mashing DD nonstop, delay netcode doesn't help either where you clearly see the DD, do your 2H and it comes out too late...


Well...maybe u can answer me this ?Question? I JUST found out that in the middle of an air combo, you press down H (High) and it launches the opponent again. But how do you follow up to finish off the juggle?
After the air 2H you press H again for an auto DD then combo, if you're already used a heavy in the combo it wont work though.

Beta is being extended by another day (It's not live right now) but it will be coming back for another 24hr period before launch. Here is hoping all the match making issues are resolved by then.

Kid Buu is my instant main! And i discovered if you press 22, press circle (Hard attack) RIGHT AFTER and it will immediately launch then in the air for a follow up combo. So if they try to button mash after the 22, the Hard attack WILL connect 100%, unless they block of course ;)
