Not been seeing a lot of Krillin around in the beta. I think the little guy is tonnes of fun.

Here's a 5 bar combo with Krillin I made. Probably not optimal in the slightest, but I thought it looked cool.

Breh, Ginyu looks broken as hell. I get your point but I think he will be a very good character.

I really wish they would have just gave characters like Vegeta, Goku, Gohan etc transformations like Frieza. Like SS1 is a level 1 power up, ss2 is level 2, ssgss is level 4, etc. I guess they wanted them to have different move sets, but I’m sure they could have codes it to where they did different moves when they transformed. DBZ Budokai 3 did this with the SS4 transformations, the specials were different.

Anyway, even though the beta has been super fail... still love the game and can’t wait for it to be released! I’m getting it on the XB1 and PS4, maximum hype engaged.

Is it me or do something characters have a horrible crouching heavy to anti air super dashes? Goku and Vegeta really suck at it meanwhile Frieza is the Noob destroyer.

On a side note, how are you guys handling the games neutral? It feels very awkward to me in the sense that assists feel slow and dashes leave me exposed. I never throw out a kiss blast enough because super dashes just beat it clean but you can counter that with a vanish.


Also blocking feels extremely difficult but that could be due to bad connections.

Characters with beam specials can catch people super dashing. After running into enough beams, I found most people started to calm down with the dashes, which let me start firing ki blasts.

Characters with beam specials can catch people super dashing. After running into enough beams, I found most people started to calm down with the dashes, which let me start firing ki blasts.

You can anti air the super dash with 2H. Obviously the good players won’t spam it, but if someone is, just 2H into a full combo punish. It’s harder to do on reaction online but if you’re looking for it, it’s simple.

Oh yeah, 2H is a better punish for sure. You've got no chance at dashing against Frieza's 2H.

It just takes practice. Without a training mode, if you don’t have any VS or anime experience you won’t really understand anything.

Breh, I’m so excited to play this and just lab so many different team combos. The beta, when I was able to play, was incredibly fun. And that was me not even knowing really how to play. I can only imagine how much fun I’ll have when I’m able to actually do stuff.

Forward + assist button is supposed to be a dash swap, which you must have been accidentally inputting. The next character does a dash in and is now the active character. If you press assist with no directions input that should work.

You just tap it, like tap the button. If you hold down the assist button it will switch characters. Also there’s a cooldown after you call an assist before you can call that assist again.

That's weird sounds like a recipe for accidental swaps all the time. Wasn't like that in marvel 3 gonna take some getting used to.

Apparently, Uncle JBeezY has FINALLY made it inside a match! Now im just doing some casual player matches until im good for some ranked, but man o man this shit is fun! Im just button mashing the fuck out of light punch, since thats basically how u do combo extensions in this game. But i guess i need to know how to open up opponents more.

I have NO idea on how to raw switch, so im just guessing shit as i go. If i need to switch, i basically do a super, then one of the assist buttons. Yup, i know, waste a meter, but damnit it saves my damaged partner. So if anybody knows how to do a raw switch, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I will upload footage of my very first set best of 3 and ended both with a level 3 super. Lucky as fuck, but WHOOP THERE IT IS!
