For reference because I couldn't really get into the game early on and didn't invest the time. I want to get into it in AE but I figured I'd try Ryu out to fully get a hold of the V-trigger/CC system that I never did before. Whats your guys' thoughts on how he'll be in AE given the patch notes? My friend told me he's cheeks right now lol.

I gotta say that's some amazing work by Capcom with those VT2s
some of the characters will get some pretty sick setups, ye Ibuki you for sure
The Nash one is pretty cool as well and also Guile with Flash kicks which throw out mini sonic booms how cute lol

overall Im impressed

OOOOOo Apparently Sakura is gonna be a FREE "Trial" for errrbody from Jan 16 to 23 (i think) with some "interesting" applications...

Anyone planning on playing F.A.N.G. for Season 3? I’m getting back into the game and will pick him up since he seems to be a bit better.

I think fangs a fun character, he was low tier in both seasons I believe and the only one who won any event with him was Xian, don't know where he'll be in AE.

Serious question: Is there any DLC (Costumes/Stages, etc) that is ONLY purchasable with fight money, or is everything purchasable with real $$ too?

I don't currently have the game, I gave my copy away about 4 months after release because then it was pretty garbo. With all the changes, I am thinking of getting it again. I may not want to wait to earn enough fight $$ to get certain costumes for characters I want to play. So, I was hoping that someone could tell me if anything was NOT purchasable with real $$, just so I know going in what I have to earn, and what I can just use my store credit/$$ for.

Pretty sure you get both options to buy anything.
