I wish his teleport was slightly better. It's so easy to punish. I feel like both teleports are almost always unsafe and sometimes even with trait out. I guess it would be op if they buffed it, but I still wish it was better..you basically have to rely on your trait on most teleports, get lucky or pray you don't get d2ed every time



On another note, I am loving the ground teleport mixups at the moment. It's so fun to confuse them with b1 and low omega beam.

Darkseid zoning isnt meant to keep you out, if ur just zoning ur doing it wrong, darkseids zoining is to stall for trait and mix
thats so dumb tho. its what i've been doing and i hate it.


and i am using the character just fine, but probably won't be using him for much longer, so its whatever.

His teleports are fine and look cool. (I love teleporting multiple times ) His main issue is footsie or an advancing mid, and a faster advancing punish. But I could accept him as he is... I just need to level up.

Your high if u think they are bringing mkx raiden to this game. The reason hes not op in mkx is cuz the game isnt focused on zoning this one is. Mkx raiden would be able to punish every zoner in the game free plus more. It would be broke. Good luck having common sense

Good luck thinking Raiden's teleports won't be faster than the 19 frames of start-up and 14 frames of recovery that Darkseid's full-combo-punishable-by-every-character-in-the-game teleports currently have which by your definition of common sense is already too fast lolol.

Lol his teleport is the best in the game, an awesome tool to have. But this "teleport is too fast" talk needs to stop.
Never played anyone that couldn't react and punish it after like 10 games. Idk but I think we'll never see anyone getting bodied by teleports in the neutral in a tournament.

You can zone lantern out with air lasers and regular lasers. Be careful with his lantern, the trade favors GL, but you can easily avoid it by walking back and punish with regular laser, or you can go for a teleport if you make a read. Try not to summon trait in neutral bc he can react and use his ex lantern to blow you up, but if you get a knockdown go for it. Green lantern has to play a very reactive game to avoid being zoned out in this matchup, so i find that whiffing pokes is a very good bait against him, it can makes him mistime his roll or his projectiles, leaving him open for huge punishes. Trait helps a lot in the projectile battle, but don't get too comfortable throwing back to back beams when you have a parademon out since his ex lantern travels pretty fast and can hit you before the beam hits him causing you to loose your minion. You can condition him stay still and go for a mix when you have parademon out, but be extra careful with air teleports since GL has great anti airs and whiff punishers.
When he gets to mid range it gets a little more complicated, he can punish whiffed omega beams and blockd low lasers very easily, so be very careful using these tools. His normals are very good, but don't let him abuse his staggers on you, keep him in check with d1s, backdash or and mbb3. Also you can throw preemptive d1s whenever you think he's gonna dash/roll in and buffer darkseid's mb knee, it is safe and knocks them fullscreen away from you on hit. If you get hit and put in his oki mix delayed wakeup is your best friend, it can really disrupt the timing for his setups, making them easier to see. And if you don't have meter don't try to anti air him with d2, his jump ins are gonna beat it 95% of the time.
Green lantern loses the zoning battle and has to come in, he is not very good at chasing people down so you can exploit his weaknesses and mistakes while building meter to put him back in the same situation again. Plus darkseid still has access to his top tier mixup potential, and there's nothing GL can do about that other than guessing correctly. Darkseid also outdamages green lantern.

yeah if they nerfed his damage, i'd probably drop darkseid, lol, his damage and mix is all he's got.
I wouldn't go that far. He's got somewhat above average zoning that's made all the more dangerous by the fact that it's coupled with really solid anti-zoning. His neutral is fucking balls but hey, he needs a weakness.

He is gonna move up the tiers but I can't see him being top3. Flash got buffed and I believe this was already his worst match, gonna be even harder now. I wouldn't mind a dmg nerf, if they really feel like nerfing something go for it. The top tier class nerf was a blessing nonetheless.
