Here is my question. Why is it ok when someone puts you in a standing reset/5050 and one touch of deaths you like Cap Cold, Cheetah, Canary but when zoning is actually good and you can keep them out the entire match its cancer?

I have news for you. Even if they nerf the crap out of dead shot, the same people losing in this video with sonic fox would still lose THE EXACT SAME WAY! And those people complaining would still lose to 50/50s and be ok with it? Just wait until you guys see what canary or cap cold are capable of. Dead shot has some very clear issues and in the beginning of the game zoning always seems stronger than it is bc people don't have bnbs down and understand punishes.

Anti zoning scrubs are hypocrites and make me sick. Fighting games are not just about standing in front of each other and swinging your arms with your eyes closed leaning away like a 12 yo girl. Zoning and space control are an essential part of a good game. As honey bee said in support of deadshot "Get Gud"

Although i like zoners and zoning p2w i gotta disagree bro , his straight shot has literally no recovery, his low gun shot does like 10 percent chip like wtf, and sonic who i talked to at nlbc said that character is retarded, he also has safe 50-50s, and trait that either does retard amounts of dami or pushes you full screen, cap cold has poor neutral only has real 50-50s in the corener and you can delay knock down pushblock etc, canary has like no neutral and has to work her way in so plz stop lol. I dont mind zoning but his zoning has really no draw back. They should nerf straight shot recovery so you can like dash after or something and take away his 50-50s imo/

After seeing Sonic last night steamrolling with that character, his straight shot can probably use a bit more recovery? People bitched about Deathstroke, but every character in the game, even Lex, could forward dash between his gunshots if they ducked.

With Deadshot, you can just walk forward a tiny little bit. I'm not saying Deadshot is unbeatable or anything, but I am saying that, as a business decision, if NRS/WB wants to keep pumping out DLC for this game and keep the playerbase high to maximize profits, a lot of casual players* are going to be unhappy with the game with Deadshot the way he is.

*casual players, aka 99.9% of the audience who buys this game. Yes, NRS wants it to be competitive, but ultimately, sorry, us competitive players equate to jack shit in overall sales. They need to keep the overwhelming majority of players happy and playing if they want to maximize profits via DLC for the next few years, not a ridiculously vocal minority of competitive players for whom Deadshot may be fine. The previous title sold way over a million units - how many people will enter at Evo?... maybe 5000? Being nice (I lowballed sales and highballed Evo) the competitive players make up .005% of total players.

I think being able to dash after ducking a gunshot seems about right as an adjustment? Regardless, good shit last night, I really enjoyed watching you play. Stayed up late to watch and am super beat at the office now, but worth it haha. Awesome set against CoachSteve, by the way, that was an insanely entertaining nailbiter!!!

I played Sinestro in Injustice 1, and my favorite fighting game character is Dormammu in UMVC3, so I am def a zoning enthusiast ... however, based on my experience so far - which, admittedly, is limited - I think Deadshot could use some tweaks.

Loving the rest of the zoning in this game though.

I'm curious where you saw him steamrolling. As far as I remember he used him twice on stream and switch off one set because he lost with him. Also the other ds player lost his set.

I can deal with zoning easier than an rtsd player but it's called playing lame for a reason. Not exciting to watch from a viewer perspective. Viewers give games a longer life cycle.

Also, Supergirl can't even teleport on reaction against the grounded shot, it has to be a read. A full screen projectile has to be a read in order to teleport. Why...

Let's REALLY talk about "deadshot". First off, that's a stupid fucking name. That's some shit some kid wearing a trench coat in history class would call himself after the hours of 4pm. Secondly what kind of pussy shoots from his limp wrist instead of just using the BIG ASS MACHINE GUN on his back? If you play deadshot you have shitty taste and probably don't even have his first album.

I was actually going to make a counter video to his tools since it's literally there in the lab and many characters can counter if people practice as much as they complain, but I changed my mind since I'm jumping ship. You guys can have your "free dash between shots" and "no midscreen weak damage 50/50's anymore" all you like. I'm not playing garbo tier in this game, which is exactly what he would be with these suggestions, and I expect knee jerk nerfs so I'm out before it happens.

I would normally agree with you if I the game didn't come out Monday night and I'm reading this comment Thursday morning. We always talk about "let the game breath" and "play out the game before we make rash suggestions", but we let it breath for less than 24 hours.

I don't think you really need to let the game play out to see how Deadshot is.
We have all played enough fighting games and NRS games to know when something is wrong, and it's not like Injustice is that deep of a game.

For some characters, fighting Deadshot is probably about as fun as getting teeth pulled.

That said, I don't think the game has much of future, Deadshot or not, so might as well leave him be.

I'm not crying for turbo nerfs, man. Nor are some others. The two things I see get mentioned the most are adding more recovery to his wrist shot and/or toning down his up close game.

Y'all are acting like everyone and their damn mother is wanting him to be Joker tier from Injustice 1.

People say it's too early to cry for nerfs, but why isn't it too early for you guys to say he's completely fair? How do you know? You don't. You're clinging onto your character because it's what you've been longing for for so long that any mention of normalizing him in any way is seen as demanding him to be gutted.

Honestly he only needs the pushback on MB riffle on block (to be nerfed meant to say!) and he should be fine, strong but not OP.

Now I'm not saying he is OP cause day 3 lol but if they do that it will help the crying.
