Scarecrow: We Want Him: Nothing Else To Say:

GOOD DRAGON

Awesometacular
I think you should change that 'WE want' to 'I want' - Making him a fighting game character is gonna be overreaching WAY too much - they had to give joker and green arrow super human serum just to get them to be at-least on par with some of the other heroes/villian.

Lets be logical about this you may love the character and want him in but he is a mind games kinda villian not a brute strength/combat capabilities kinda villian -

if you break it down he is a human psychologist with a suit that allows him to inject you or cloud the vicinity with hallucinogenics so he can play mind games that's it.
He is a sophisticated rapist at best.

Next we'll have the - We want Alfred the butler thread.

Death doesn't matter in NRS games. Especially one in a tie-in comic.
Plus people have suggested that some parts in the story could be flashbacks featuring the characters that died either in the first Injustice or the comic. Which would make them playable without having be resurrected in the story. This is what they did in MKX.

I have decided to main poison ivy (assuming scarecrow isn't playable) but I would love to see what NRS would do with him and I have like 10 different ideas for his trait

Yeah I like the idea of a MK9 Freddy x F.A.N.G fusion for Scarecrow. I am not a huge comic book buff but I do think Scarecrow looks really cool and he looks horror-ish which is always a plus for me. There is a reason why I only use the Hayseed skin on Junkrat in Overwatch lol

All I'll add is this. Scarecrow wouldn't be my choice on roster, but anyone can fit if done right. The "super pill" makes anyone work.

I mean we had Harley Quinn in Injustice 1 and I never heard a complaint, she has an even bigger role now, so...

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought in the very first Injustice comic issue (I'm putting this on a spoiler tab but I'm almost sure it's in the first issue):

Scarecrow is dead, the Joker gets his gas to trick Superman into believing Louise is Doomsday. I haven't read most of the series but I recall that part. If he returns from the dead after that I stand corrected.

EDIT: Here is that part:

Then again, he was a stage interaction in the game so maybe he returned somehow?
So, the interesting thing about that is that his death has now been mentioned about 4 times in the comic over the years, including one very recently (like 2 months ago), which would certainly be after the writers knew he was in or out.

If he is in the game (I think he's on one of the leak lists) his death is almost certainly canon.

I don't think NRS cares about the comic. Look at how MKX's story didn't work with the MKX comic.

Injustice takes place in a parallel universe; Scarecrow being dead in one of the universes doesn't matter. Look what they did with Joker in the first game.

It did, they just made some mistakes. Plenty of stuff that happens in the comic is referenced in MKX.
I think it's the comic referencing stuff they got told was in MKX rather then the other way around. I think it's going to work the same way here. Hell the comic had Scarecrow pop up alive recently. The comic can't even keep track of it's own continuity tbh.

This will 100% happen. He'll be top tier, and all these imaginationless drones will be like "I mained him the whole time"
"See, he has no relevant combat abilities but gets his opponents high before fighting them so they think he does"
10/10 imagination should write fanfics on deviant art

No! I'd rather they used Phantom Stranger or The Spectre instead of another damn Batman character!! Seriously this is a DC fighting game not a Gotham fighting game

Wait lol didnt martian manhunter getting fucking incinerated in the comics and NRS just made him DLC along with having him as a background character. So the entire he is dead thing doesnt really hold much weight here lol. Also he was a stage transition in the first game, pretty sure IF NRS do care about the comic story they will just DLC his ass in.

I also Would like to see what they could do with crane dont underestimate the fear toxin when it pushed possibly the strongest DC hero to murder his wife and unborn child . JUST SAYING.

EDIT: Super pill btw

I'd take Scarebeast if I had to. But if looking for a larger type character I'd lean towards Clayface.

"Revealing New Character" This Tuesday. This may be our moment.
