Most useful taunt of all time?
Maybe dudleys or dans beat it but it could be good. The only legit setups ive found require you to either read a delayed wakeup(not impossible) or use your v trigger and sac some damage(not too terrible of an option).

Also midscreen you can do ch taunt into b hp xx ex red fireball xx trigger forward tele hp dp for swag combos.

You can meaty taunt after landing a taunt on a character with no 3 frame normal. Trade and still get the juggle into meaty vs a 3 framer. The loops.

I read the change in the patch notes but I didn't really notice until this guy hit me with like 3 reversal how long grey life takes to regenerate

40 seconds of grey life lul gief players must be pissed. There should be a season 2 dlc character that abuses this in some way

Kombatant
Akuma can't play a fireball game vs gief. He either can't get the chip, gives gief too much meter, or leaves himself too vulnerable to a jump in depending on which fireball he uses. He's gotta get the knockdown and bully him imo.
Its effective at poke range, it knocks down 'Gief the same way it would anyone else. But yes, not effective at long-range with the typical "spam" strategy. I also think Akuma gets mauled by Balrog, and Cammy. This is probably the fairest version of Akuma in a while, I think he has some legitimately bad matchups.

@MylesWright_

I'll be back 3ing
Season 2 Juri got an anti-air, a v-skill and oki

People better watch out for Juri in Season 3 when she gets a -2 airborne overhead she can combo off in V-trigger

Do you not know when you'll be online? You sent that shit at 3 in the morning. Sometimes I got to sleep. You online today?
I'll be online when you see me online

So I played my very first set of sfv today and mannnn it's so fun but weird lol. Everything feels like it has 2 hit advantage. I need to work on my hit confirming DEFINITELY, and learn MU's. Was lost at when it was my turn etc. games A1 though. Btw anyone know what changed for cammy in s2 that was really significant?
if you are just getting into it you will read a lot of cammy stuff from season 1 saying ex divekick is + on block which is no longer true in s2. before it was a 'get in free with a turn' card and now it is not which is a significant change. v-trigger divekicks and ex hooligan>divekick are still +

when its your turn with cammy at point blank start off mixing up between throw, LP (tic) throw, and LP cLP confirm to arrow for oki. once they are scared of throw its shimmy/counterhit time

you can mix up your jump in between divekick (learn the angles in the lab for s/m/h divekick) to stay in front and jLK to crossup

use sMP (lots of active frames) to meaty wakeups and confirm into MP cMPxArrow/spike

use sMK to poke (one of the best pokes in the game imo)

Cammy is a great character to learn the game on. I started off with Ryu and wish I had moved to cammy sooner. she is a bully. I can send you all my cammy notes if you want although im only super silver

Ex strike is still plus on block just has to be spaced better. You can still be up to +6 after it. It had literally the same frame changes as hooligan into ex spike.

Yes I'm really hesitant to read through or watch any s1 vids on cammy. I'm not used to the practice mode of sfv yet or exactly how to test on there but I want to start after I finish her story and get more comfortable with her hit confirms, combos, and spacing. What would u recommend I use starting off ? I want to shave all of the extra stuff and just focus on 1 punish combo(meter and meterless), 1 or 2 hit confirm combos, 1 anti air , and maybe 2 spacing normals to constest in nuetral..

this is what i use:

crush counter punish - HK fHK cMP x arrow/spike
regular punish - MP HP x arrow/spike
easy confirm: cMP cMP x arrow/spike

anti air you can cannon spike or bMP -- after bMP you can cross under
spacing normals: MK is godlike, cMK is good, cHP has good range and moves forward and on hit you can go into vtrigger for a combo

@buyacushun are you still a mika/fang player in season 2? I don't play much ranked if any... idk if I'm even ranked tbh. But if we can get a decent connection, I'd like to get a few games once we get home and get the new baby settled.

I've been mostly focusing on Juri but I can still play Mika and F.A.N.G. I'm definitely down for some games using any 3. What's your CFN? Mine is CM_BUYACUSHUN

Ok I'm hurt. Why wouldn't you ask me? my Mika puts the hurt on cushuns.
You stop it right now. My Mika trained you. You definitely don't want the season 2 work.

I have only seen 1 Mika online (This person used to smack me around in S1) that person only used Mika once against me, now uses Cammy.
I played against a Mika the other day in ranked. Would constantly use v reversal. But also would use roll without trigger. Once I started low profiling HK, the mika was so lost in neutral. People really underestimated how you actually needed to play her against people who know her.
