You can't force other people to get good. You can only fix your own mistakes. If you got jab aad you fucked up. It's a known quantity at this point. Either improve your reads, your reactions, or your ground game because you coulda done better. im sorry if you wanna jump with impunity online in a game with 7 frames of input delay, really I am.

Jab AAs are too strong, absolutely. But it's such a minor tool in a matchup that's only useful if you let it be. To say you're losing to players specifically because of it is fucking stupid.

Also I shouldn't have to explain this but I feel I do. While jab AA is whack in 90% of fighting games sfv is not one of those games. I don't think you can call a near 100% success rate tactic in a game a bad habit.

We're arguing about it because you hold a different point of view which you felt the need to express and now that you know you're wrong you're going back to you're doofy persona where you can play it off all smooth like.

Also your analogy sucks. A jab aa is a defensive option air legs are offensive. Your opponent can't make you jump at bad timings.

His aa was dumb like cammy's b.mp and making his normals slower is just a universal change. Didn't they buff his st.mp for even better whiff punishement? Birdies already played like bums in vtrigger nobody will notice
Yeah I'm not saying they made him worse. Actually, now that I've had time to play him a bit, I think he's probably better. I'm just saying they made his strengths/weaknesses more like the rest of the cast. He was more unique when he had stupidly good anti air and mid screen control, but weak offense and trouble getting in vs some characters.

Seems inconsistent Ima call it a bug.
The dude who posted the video says it only works if the first frame of the move is interrupted. But yeah I agree it's a bug because it would be dumb. Or just let those moves have armor on the first frame but no throw immunity.

It's all so very confusing.
I am super happy Ken is still solid. Puts him back on my list if Akumer turns in to a long term project/ends up not being as fun as I hope.

I have had almost no time with s2, tried to.plsy the first night but found out my work Network security blocks game connections or something and the next day I just didn't have any time between RL and work.. really need to start grinding out my Guile and put some time in on Akuma and see where he stands for me. My 20m in training mode fiddling with his normals and execution are promising..

What are his go-to combos that I need to know? I know his cr.Mp bnb, cr.lk x cr.lp BNB, a couple things off st.rh , but that's it. Haven't had time to explore CC stuff or anything.

He is interesting, from what I've seen of him being played by stronger players.. really seems like he doesn't want to play the poke/footsie game long, as has been stated here, he really has to get in and get his damage rolling. I was watching some matches, I think it was WNF, and I'd watch Akuma land a BnB and a poke or two and maybe a couple blocked projectiles, etc, and think 'hes controlling the round, nice' look at the life bars and they were even, off nothing more than him eating a few stray normals, given his low life.

I certainly have ZERO opinions on is tier placement/relative strength, but I DO think in the hands of average players he will be weak. In the hands of experience, we shall see, but he's going to be one of those characters with a really high skill floor to start seeing success with.

Meanwhile, Bison is looking pretty legit.
