ok i put on my radiation suit let's dive into another one of fl bumdown's posts lul

im sorry. I'll reiterate.

1. No you can't confirm off a single light in a match.

2. No, platinum level players are not godlike, they're barely tournament ready at best.

3. What you said was optimal was in fact wrong on many levels. It does less damage, and isn't even possible since ryu can't link his st lk into another light.

4. Yes, the funniest part of your incorrect and wildly douchey statement was that you somehow though referring to yourself as godlike was appropriate when no one would fucking know your name if you let your gameplay speak for itself instead of using that gaping maw that you call a mouth.

1. ur a scrub lul

2. i cant hear you all the way down there in gold.

3. find me the post where i said st. lk links into another light. then explain to me how a light > light > hp dp (169) isn't more optimal than light > hp dp (159).

4. is english your first language? do you know how to read the words i'm actually typing out and not whatever you think youre seeing? maybe i bopped you too hard with that 10-0 your head needs to be looked at lul

im down to play. And if you've got a PS4 headset I'm down to teach.

Last time I saw infiltration play it was at Brooklyn beatdown. I'm definitely not saying he didn't mean to win, much less im not saying he threw his games, but he was definetely not the infiltration from a couple months ago. I saw him whiff ex sonic booms, I saw him block jump in punches when before he was known for never missing an anti air. Hell, I saw him whiff a super with Nash because he attempted it on wake up WHEN HIS OPPONENT WAS HALF SCREEN AWAY! So unless everyone is getting much better and he is actually getting worse then I honestly think he's been trying new things out, maybe a different play style? If he was just concentrated on winning then let's be honest, if he couldn't win with Nash then why would he choose to play balrog when if he lost he was eliminated? Things don't add up but that's the only thing I coukd think the reason is.

I talked about this when Tokido won what I think was his first SFV major. I definitely think Infiltration tries out stuff and takes mental notes during matches. I think this has to be the case since he's secured the number one spot in the capcom cup. He's not necessarily sandbagging and he loses to really good players. But he's getting experience for whatever he's plotting and when Capcom Cup comes around you won't question his anti air skills lol.

I think he is both sandbagging and testing things out. It is the ultimate mind game.

Edit: Nah really. All this testing stuff out, I would bet he is doing all that stuff to gain the player mentality side of things. The solitary execution side was the first half of the season and this is the rest. Dude is playing it smart.

Exactly he is scoping out the competition and what strategies and techniques to use. Unless he hasn't be practicing I say he is testing to see where people are at now since he was indisputably the best SFV player. Testing out tendencies is probably his next step.

don't ever even think about jumping at me.
If you're going to keep posting footage of stuff you should learn what's actually worthy of being mentioned. A simple jab anti air into a mixup is beta level stuff. If someone was brand new they'd be looking up all types of Alex stuff elsewhere. If you even slightly know how to play SFV then you've probably seen anti air jab into mixup too many times to count. You're not the 1st nor the 1000th person to do anti air jab into mixup.
