MKXL Balance Patch Confirmed (UPDATED)

Do you use Cyber? According since the beginning of this game; evertime I suggest buffs to Cyber, "he doesn't need it" is the response. So thats is why Cyber is still underused and outzone still today

I play Commando, Possessed, and Fisticuffs. And I'm not that good with any of them. But that doesn't mean I want redundant buffs just because other characters have them. That's not how you balance a game, that's how you break a game.

Dude, everyone would be better with a safe overhead. Everyone in the game. So you don't want your already solid character to rocket to alien status, you're still asking for an unnecessary buff.

how about you givce me an example of how it would make Cybernetic Broke? drop the Unnecessary comments and he doesnt need it comments, and Explain how it could possibly break the game?

From where i stand Every character has that. Why is it so bad in your mind, that Kano Cybernetic should not get a overhead to condition?



Im litteraly woindering if you are being Genuine? do you actually believe Cybernetic is one Adjustment from Alien status?

count how many characters have multiple mixups, and hoiw many have safe ones. i said one of them Reptile has a Plus 2 OH. How many more, bet the number is more than half. if they don't have them safe allready they can make them safe. what im getting at here is simply, the Standard of the game is just that, OH's and Lows and making them safe or tools to do so.

Reason Alien is broke is having that plus Jailing plus Restands, plus Vortex from Air Acid blood(connect it higher and its plus 11) then on top of that he can do that shit from full screen and stay safe.

Cybernetic was once considered bottom 10, i don't believe thats true, but giving him an Overhead will not hurt anyone trust me. the cast can handle it just fine. they are better equiped than Cybernetic is even if he gets a Safe OH he can use to condition people so he can open them up with a low.


Im sure Most including @Apex Kano agree with me on that?

Try him if you have curiosity and you will see. The idea of the variation is cool though. Cool enough to keep me playing him in his current state. Best brutality in the game, also. But it sucks to see his potential wasted.

Tell you what Ask the original Kano mains what it feels like to use Cybernetic against most of the cast, No overhead, while they are blocking all your lows, and coming back with BS pressure, OH to lows and Lows to overheads that jail into guess what more overheads, or Tekadas EX kuni pressure and guess game. then look at Cyber and see if you actually believe that he is even close to broken like Alien?????

If there was any (literally any) evidence that adding a guest somehow subtracts an in universe character I would be on board but that's not even remotely how it works.

There isn't any, but I would rather see them focus on adding more MK characters as DLC instead of having guest characters. Like, there were 4 guests in MKX. That could have been 4 MK characters people have been really requesting to see. It's my personal feelings on the matter.

On top of that, I never really cared for any of the characters they've released as a guest. They've been iconic movie characters, sure, but I'm not much of a movie person, so seeing them in instead of like Fujin, Baraka, Reiko, or whatever other character you could think of doesn't really excite me. On the flipside, I really enjoyed seeing Scorpion in Injustice. Scorpion could really fit in as a comic superhero/supervillain/anti-hero or whatever you wanna call him. Jason, Freddy, and Leatherface, while worked in really well, just don't ever come off as characters that would show up in the MK universe to me.

Flame fist can be annoying, but he's fair.
Even with the proposed buffs, fisticuffs would probably be worse than him though.

By the way, I was pesimistic about fisticuffs buffs, but today "Something" told me that FC might get love, man

Cybernetic getting an overhead wouldn't be too good if it's designed to not really add much other than something to get you to stand up. Kang and Kitana don't even have overheads that lead to anything, yet it's a nice option (especially with Kang).

100% id rather have Noob and others in the game instead of Guest characters. me personally miss all my childhood characters i played with on MK2/MK3/UMK3. if KP3 comes out i hope they skip the Guest characters and stick to MK Characters. it would be so much cooler and gineune to the game to bring back Frost, Noob, Nightwolf, Sindel and maybe Fujin(never played with him) but think it could be cool, just the idea of another God along side Raiden. just need some Tag Kombat and we are peachy.

I honestly want to see NRS take an Armageddon route and make a huge ass roster of characters. Would it possibly be grossly unbalanced? Yeah, but I give no fucks. Armageddon is my favorite MK partially because of the character selection lol.

I really don't undewrstand where you are coming from with this only 3 characters have safe mixups, like really everyone has them, only a couple do not have both Low's and Overheads. thats Kitana, Kano commando/Cybernetic, and really noone else. they all have one, even Liu kan g has an Overhead two of them 113 and B2. and whats funny is what was asked for was an overhead like Liu kangs B2.

and what about this FF you think he is a pain in the ass? i think he is very punishable when you know the matchup. But anyways Kano Cybernetic would not hurt anyone by having an Overhead ender as a conditioning tool.
To me it would just make him all that much more fun to play with and against.

Apex has mained Kano from day one, and im sure he understands what kano should have and not. and trust me Cybernetic getting a small piece of what others have just to help his neutral is not an unfair request.

By experience, I'll tell you this. All of them have 50/50s. Without them having 50/50s they would be a shitty tier and had to depend on zoning and special attacks. The 50/50s are considered as a mind guessing game, in which MKX game is relying on.

Sonya is fine dude. Stamina lost on Ronin or any canceling fighterts is cool.

Cyber Kano does need an OH. Everyone just blocks low, and while it's fun opening up opponents with skill rather than a 50/50 guess, an overhead would make him funner.

well hopfully you get cyber overhead, and i get balanced d4 7-8 frames and Teleflurry hitbox and startup fixed, less recovery on tf/Os. then cyrax gets lauching armor, and Unbreakable/Raiden MOS gets some love.

i hope they don't fuck Mileena up. and give some CSZ buffs, he needs Freeze back just make recovery longer. bring back all starters with normal freeze.
