Djt and Mit stopped playing so much because of school. Zyphox quit because he doesn't have fun, and Saltface quit for a while till Summer Jam. Forever King seems like he just hasn't cared as much since XL first came out probably. He's even said he hasn't trained like he usually does. Michalengelo and Slayer seem to be the only ones consistently playing but even they haven't attended tournaments recently. Jago Blake and Tyrant just haven't had too much success at this game (no shots) from what I can recall. I heard Tyrant did good at the beginning but I don't think I paid attention to the tournament scene like that at the start so idr lol

I'm not surprised that many of you don't have this privilege buried in your heart. Emperor Outworld is only joking with his comments. Tweedy was kind of serious in his statements towards the rest of TYM. Those are different from each other.

To be the best player is to have bested the whole tourney, like Sonic Fox and Scar did. Sonic Fox and Scar NEVER ever said that they're the best. They proved it by act. And, of course, I'm not better than those monsters, BUT I don't ever say that I'm better or not than the others. My play style would prove it, not my words. And I respect everyone's opinions about their characters and attempts to be better than me.

This is why I said that Tweedy needs to learn to back off.

Sonicfox rarely outright says he's the best (eventhough he is), but he'll gladly show you he's the best by being a dick and teabagging you on stream. That's just perfectly fine, but Tweedy being confident isn't? He just backed it up by getting 5th place, only losing to Sonicfox (barely) and Scar.

When has tweedy ever said how amazing he was? He got famous by arguing with Brady on the forum and Brady said he had "no right" to have an opinion. Does he have a right now?

He just calls people out for chatting bullshit and saying dumb stuff. People are quick to shut an unknown player down because they haven't earned respect to speak their mind on match up numbers and characters.

He also has stated many times that alien is dumb and should be nerfed. If people are hatin' on him its because he can be abrasive; doesn't mean what he's saying is wrong.

You clearly haven't seen the "Make TYM Great Again" thread. Everyone's free to say how great they are, but to do it at the expense of others is the issue here. Multiple times, he's attempted to elevate himself by bringing down someone else. Example, playing one match with a player and then calling them garbage.

You have options with Pyromancer vr Ronin, If you think Ronin's reflect makes this a (7-3) Matchup, because there are barely 7-3's in this game. Pyromancer CAN zone Ronin, and her moves are fast enough to punish his nonsense. I would say it's 6-4 or maybe even 5-5 , STOP Sleeping on Tanya. She's not "buns" she's just harder to use than last time now, you have to actuall TRY and win with her now.

It may have something to do with him being a guest character also applying an extra coating of salt... He also got that Tanya 2.0 rep from the get go. I have no room to talk about dumb characters as a mileena main, but he's just as dumb, along with others you mentioned above. That being said, if I'm going to be drawn and quartered in the coming patch, gut that son of a bitch too. :DOGE

I do think she is buns. Just people sleep on the good things she does.

The man has talked his fair amount of shit about people unprovoked and is deserving of SOME of the hate he gets. The guy is no angel definitely.

Regardless, he did well at TCW and that's undeniable, Alien or not. We will see if time is in his favor as the patch next month rolls over and *possibly* older players return to the fray.


On another point about nobody saying stuff when people use their "broke" characters. Scar w demo and hayatei w ronin for example, it took NEARLY a year of full on grinding and labbing to bring as much potential out these characters as they did. That being said they are the ONLY ones to do well with said characters. I can't think of an alien player that's lost in pools.

The reason why alien receives the hate he does is because his ease of use and accessibility. He was great from the very beginning and it wasn't hard to see.

Same with Tanya, although it took a Lil bit longer before ppl realized how BS she was.
