Second match Buffalo who's been making huge waves and actually almost beat him losing 3-2. definitely not free.

Then REO. Multiple EVO Grand finalist and consistant top 8 placer, also not free.

Then Hayatei, Also Multiple top 8 placer and ESL finalist. Definitely Not Free.

IF he lost to Hayatei (Which he didnt) he would have played Dark or Sidthehaze. Both of which are respectable players, but not the level as previously mentioned.

So for this man's first tournament, he made top 16 getting through those amazing players and IF he would have lost in top 16 (which he didnt) he would have an opponent who made it just as far as he did, which should be respectable. Not free. Quit trying to discredit someones success. He did above average for a persons first offline event getting Top 8 winners beating all those players WHO ARE NOT FREE AT ALL. This is why people don't come to this site.

Who cares if it was? It doesn't take anything away from him, he's clearly an amazing player and one of the best rn(assuming he plays like this every tournament, which I think he won't. He'll play even better.). Regular top tier tournament players get free paths all the time.

Its coming from a guy that mains kenshi and smashed his xbox controller like angsty 12 year old when he lost, cant really credit his opinion on being "free" with any sort of validity because he is in fact probably the most free tournament player to actually get on a stage.

I'm not discrediting Tweedy's achievements. I'm saying at the time had Tweedy lost to Hayatei he would've had to play against either Sid or Dark players from my area that I'm aware of their skill level. To make top 8 in losers. Please tell me more about how you know more about players from my area (Sid and Dark). It would've been a tough match between whoever would've had to play against Tweedy.

Lol at a lot of the comments here. Let that man play. Wether he uses alien or whoever, hes playing offline and keeping calm under pressure. Imo placing at your first tourney is very good. If he can go to any other tournaments, consistency would be better. What hes doing is better than what a lot of us did at our first tournaments.

Yes i fucking despise alien and think hes cheap as all hell, but everyone has access to him, so if u lose to alien u gotta hold that.

Yeah. I wouldn't consider myself a believer or a non believer before hand. I knew he would do well, but I didn't know he would do that well. I'm not gonna act like he is some shit player without even seeing him play offline like some people like to. I respect Tweedy because he actually stepped up and showed he was good and doesn't dick ride a lot of the top players like everyone on here likes to. But yeah now, sure I'm a believer in Tweedy.
