I always enjoy watching a good Liu Kang and I got them feels for Toxin.

Whiteboy raging or Toxin's reaction, were the only enjoyable moments from this tournament today. Boring is as boring does and I expect it to be "The Golden Boy", winning it again.

I'm real salty that my boy Tom Brady didn't even make it past freaking pools. The deck was REAL stacked against him :( (I call it the Stone Cold Conspiracy, :DOGE)

Really enjoyed pools (what I saw of it) and top 16.. extreamly exciting. We had not one but two match extensions in top 16, defensive on reaction x-rays, crucial combo drops leading to momentum swings and even a few clutch scrambles... ... I mean top 16 had everything. If you didn't like watching that then you have no business at a MK event, it was pure MK.

The Cowboy Match with SonicFox was particularly awesome. Great example of everything awesome about MKx... two players neck and neck the entire event... and the match coming down to a few minor mistakes / combo drops. MK at its brutal unforgiving best!! The KitanaPrime match in pools to knock him out of winners was another match like that.. so intense and hype. Was just frickn awesome.

Mr Aquaman and KitanaPrime are just god tier commentators. ESL needs to put them on the payrole!

Real shame the Team Event wasn't streamed, that sounded hella-cool!

Can not wait for finals. I think Scar and Sonic meeting in round one is going to give Foxy the edge as he will, imo, not be at risk of going to loosers. He is going to 3-1 Dragon easy. I'm expecting a ESL3 rematch. Foxy v Sonic.

The stream was very well run, a few out of FukyP's control connection errors but all in all fantastic.. thanks to the streamers (even if I dislike the subscription system for past broadcasts)

Having to subscribe to someone to view their archives is the dumbest shit ever. Hopefully matches make their way to YouTube. As much as I'd like to catch Top 16 since I missed all but the last two matches, I'm not gonna pay to watch it.

Its not dumb. Dude has to make money. ALSO it stops people from take the videos and postings it to their own youtube which happens a lot. Funky usually posts it to youtube quickly

Tom seems confident about EVO on his Twitter. I like it when he is optimistic about the game.

It's crazy how many great players lost early on. Thing is this late into the game, EVERYONE at CEO is a very good player.

Because buying all our own equipment, packing it, paying for checked bags, paying for expensive equipment, setting up everything by yourself, packing it up every night, setting it up again, running streams for 8-14 hours for 3 days straight and then packing up should all be done for free because we are "community"................?

Nope

Thats about 42 hours of work that most was paid for by FunkyP to even make work

When you go in to work this week don't clock in orjust tell your boss "this week is on me" and think of FunkyP

Ive played MKX once since May 26th ComboBreaker

I ve had ZERO time which is why people havnt seen me stream or anything, way too busy.

Despite having a flight and all I may just pass on evo this year. I dont have any time to get a character ready and I dont feel like leaving town for 4-5 days w a bottom 1-5 character to waste money. Not my idea of "vacation time"

This game has been dreadful for me despite success here and there w esl, good success.

Like i said to people in streams asking questions: I will under on circumstance EVER EVER EVER be loyal again in NRS Fighting games. I dont give two rats shits if ZOD, Kenshi, My dog, Myself is a character in Injustice2. I really dont care. It's a waste of time to play these games unless you're playing top 1-10 and if you arent you should or stay home and do something else.

I want to go to evo and have fun but not sure it's worth it for me w MKX

Oh that blows. I can't say I blame you. What happened to Reptile? He's not top ten but he's a zillion times better than Kenshi. Did you drop him?

Top10 or stay home

Year 1 yes kenshi reptile and some other low to mid tier characters can have success. Once the NRS game developes the track record is startling

It's top 10 or stay home

No reptile have a chance at success at evo nor kenshi
