yeah and I stand by those sayings. Ken and Necalli aren't in my top 5(Ryu,chun,Nash,karin and vega are definitively better characters and there are a few that are equal to him(sim,bison,birdie,cammy etc etc.). Fang is fine because honestly I don't think there's any unusable characters in this game(the only possible exception being maybe gief).
Why Vega so high up? (I'm assuming he's either top 5 or top 8.)
i put him at 5 on my personal list but I'm flexible. He's got the best walk speed in the game, a 3 frame button, a command grab, an unreactable slide, imo the best v reversal in the game(tied with cammys), solid pokes, multiple long range buttons that are +2 in clawless form, easy super/v trigger confirms, and decent dmg. His anti airs are pretty weak but that's really his only weakness. I think he's a very very solid character.
im honestly not sure. She's scary, but probably still underdeveloped so I'd place her mid-upper mid but i wouldn't be surprised if she jumps up a bit.

Keeps ppl in check and switches it up from always throwing booms and being predictable. I have a ton of birdo stuff my yt. You can get an idea of what he can do.
Thing is, if you're talking about passion press on reaction to f.HP or v-skill, he's got a bunch of other buttons he could press at that range. So I wouldn't say he shouldn't at least use f.HP sometimes, though v-skill is a more risky read. And Zangief definitely had the normals to make getting in a complete chore. Mika doesn't have some "in" she could just use. And to say Mika doesn't have to use command grabs is wrong when Zangief can punish f.HP with wakeup v-skill. Or even just block. There's still a whole mind game at play on wakeup. Just thinking that alone could lead you to eat 3 command grabs in a row.
