Yes, but with that being said, the command grab is now more applicable by itself without having to tack it on from a gimmicky string. And the EX Sand Grenade is still useful for giving Erron a safe low option from B32 outside of Marksman. I think it was established a long time ago that it's utility in terms of plus frames was never really worth it.But we never got the old cmd grabd metagame back. All we got is basically 21 command grab, any knowledge player can blow that up everysingle time so there 21122 has become garnage. Garbage tick throws, -1, ex-sand push back -> waste of meter for the most part, garbage meter building now (universal nerf) AGH FUCK TYPING THIS MAKES ME SO SALTY lol.![]()
Personally I felt that the Ex Sand pushback put him him in a good range for F1 or whiff punishing on a read but that's just me.But we never got the old cmd grabd metagame back. Johnny Cage, Kung Lao, Tanya, and Tremor. What character prepatch could you have said was better than Quan Chi? Also I am taking into consideration the character as a whole (Summoner, Sorcerer, and Warlock).
It does, she got taken to the woodshed. Brawler is the only variation at this point unless you are just playing for fun. Spec Ops was RIP 6 months ago in the previous round of nerfs and they decided to keep it unviable in this patch as well. And I swear Cassie's NP knocks your further away on hit
No. I made that thread after the stream about Tanya.lol didn't you make a whole thread an hour into the MKXL patch saying she was still good?
Now when you say normalized, do you mean nerfed but a fair nerf and still good?
Because Tanya got beyond bodied...I don't think that was a normalization lol
YessssssNo. I made that thread after the stream about Tanya.
If you checked on that thread lately, my whole views changed.
Might wanna get the facts straight next time before coming for someone![]()
Tremor deserves more than an honorable mention, the patch completely shat on his meta and neutral, and made him even harder to manage as a character. More nerfs are being discovered as we speak. I'm surprised Tremor didn't get more votes considering Quan still has some of his BS.Honorable mention for Tremor too
Yeah, others lost their OTG damage, but Tremor's was far more integral to his game than other characters in my opinion. I would see some Goro, Jax and other players occasionally use their OTG, but nowhere near as much as Tremor players would. I think they should have just reduced the overall damage it dealt instead of making it scale to combos. Using a bar for 3% is laughably bad unless it's GOING to win the round/match. It should have been reduced to a flat number around 8-10%, regardless of how long the combo was. When the KP2 characters get inevitably normalized. The game WILL be balanced because there won't be so much of the 'dirt' you guys rely on.
Then we can shut the fuck up about who got 'ruined'.
It's getting boring.
Everyone is like "Tremor lost his OTG!?"
So did Goro and the rest of the cast and some of those characters had less of a winning chance than the top tiers.
Do you mean normalized or unfairly destroyed??Unquestionably tanya.
You're not starting an argument. OTG is a serious hit but every skilled Tremor player is far more upset about uprock. Everyone is not like "Tremor lost his OTG," everyone is like "Tremor's uprock is a crap move that's only useful if meter burned."Then the change to his Up Rock hurt him even more. They could have changed it to a mid and possibly reduced/added a few frames here or there, but not to the degree that they did.
Wtf he has a MB uprock? LolYou're not starting an argument. OTG is a serious hit but every skilled Tremor player is far more upset about uprock. Everyone is not like "Tremor lost his OTG," everyone is like "Tremor's uprock is a crap move that's only useful if meter burned."
Yes. I don't think it had any different properties than the original other than maybe damage? I could be wrong about that, but I never saw anyone use EX Up Rock prior to its changes. EX Up Rock in the current patch functions like the non-EX version prior to getting nerfed, I believe.Wtf he has a MB uprock? Lol
Well, I like to point out that I'm not trying to start an argument 'cause folks on here (not the person I was quoting specifically) love to start arguments when you have a different opinion than them. You're not starting an argument. Everyone is not like "Tremor lost his OTG," everyone is like "Tremor's uprock is a crap move that's only useful if meter burned."
Another tool to add to his already meter-intensive design. Even the MB up rock is not as great as people would like to believe.Wtf he has a MB uprock? Lol
