I feel like Kung Jin, Jax and Takeda could be S, what do you think?

Possibly. I feel like the next level of accuracy would be if we could get every character community to agree on match up charts for their characters and go down the list in what character has the overall highest points to lowest and place them in numerical order.

Damn...I mean the "big bad" must be missing something...

The way this tier list is determined is problematic. You can't have a character that has 10 losing matchups with each of his top 2 variation separately (even though if you have his 2nd best variation to cover the losing matchups of the top one then he has 1 or 2) to the same tier as a character that is losing 1 or 2 matchups with his top (only one!) variation. It feels is the wrong way.

i'm curious why Liu Kang never makes anyone's S tier on these lists. How many losing matchups does dragon's fire actually have, and if there are any, how many of those are not just other S tier characters?

I dunno about Takeda being above like.. A, maybe lower A+.. My opinion means fuck-all don't get me wrong, but as strong as he is and as powerful as his Kunai silliness can get, I just feel like he struggles vs rush-down a little too much to be super high. I weight placements a little differently though.

Denzell thinks Tremor loses one match up at the highest level, maybe two. He thinks Tremor can hold his own against almost any character in the game.

Because all the characters in A tier are extremely good in their own way and saying one or a select few of them are better than the rest of their tier is a pretty bold statement for this game, IMO.

Like some others have said, MKX is shaping up to be the most balanced NRS game to date. There's a LOT of really good characters.

Jacqui is really good across all of her variations. Ferra / Torr and Kotal Kahn are probably the best designed characters in the game with how great all three of their variations can be.

As far as why Goro is placed so low it's only because of the losing match ups we had down for him which are: Quan Chi, Shinnok, Kung Lao, Kung Jin, Predator, Tanya, Kano, etc. I'm sure some of the well established Goro players can chime in on this segment. @Decay @Espio @Mortal Komhat @Alright RyRy

You're right, he gets bodied by those characters. He can't do much except make hard reads in certain matchups

Nearly all the characters in that A+ tier have a weakness. But you're not suggesting that D'Vorah is in with the likes of F/T and Scorpion are you?

Not really. His armor is good but punishable, and he has enough ways to control space properly.

Very good crowd pleaser tier list (I see nothing particularly controversial about it).

I'm interested to see if/when we can broaden our horizons to more variations getting included in these tier lists. I only play Brood Mother D'vorah so it's sort of like this tier list will never apply to me since it's nowhere near as good as Swarm Queen lol. I'm sure Hat Trick Lao, etc. players feel the same way.
