Why did you choose your main?

D'vorah- She's just a cool ass character. I love her role in the lore and her apparance is soooooo godlike. I mained Aquaman in Igau and D'vorah feels really similar to him.
Sub-Zero- Sub is always the first character i learn in a Mortal Kombat game. Sub and i have been besties for over 20 years

tbh, shinnok feels more like aquaman than dvorah, perhaps thats why i click so well with em, despite him not being my main

Kano Cutthroat. I practice Wing Chun Kung Fu and we use (sort of) the same knives as Kano is using in game. Apart from that I like the way he's acting: Spitting when leaving the selection screen, talking down on people and it looks like he's killing for fun and money. Great fun!

cassie- cuz i wanted a top tier with derpy mixups and great footsies, plus i love spec ops setups

ermac- cuz i love ermac and mained him in mk9, and he's way better in this game

liu kang- most satisfying character for me to use in the game, cancels, cool combos, cool skins

tremor- cuz i like falling rocks and his greenness, that low

Quan: I mained him in mk9.
I saw the armour spell in the trailer and was sold.
Also, woolay.

1) He's a descendant of the Great Kung Lao and cousin to Kung Lao.
2) He has excellent reach, footsies, mixups, and one of the best projectiles in the game.
3) He's the lone archer in the franchise.
4) His bo staff has a great sound effect.
5) Calling him gay wouldn't even be an insult. It's just a straight up fact.

I've always had a thing for crazy chicks In MK9 I mained Mileena and Smoke, so those were the only characters I KNEW I wanted to play when MK X came out. I loved how Mileena had one of the best d4's in that game, and had an amazing overhead starter (U4) as well. Ironic those are some of her biggest weaknesses in this game.

I play alot of characters because ive grown up with the series and like several cast members alot.
Johnny Cage is my favorite character though and i like his playstyle, so theres that.

I also really like Dvorah. Her chip damage and strong normals are my style too

I use alot of the cast members though.

I intended Jason to be my main when he was announced, but i got sick of feeling handicapped in matches.

I have been an Ermac main since UMK3 and the only reason I picked him at the time was because he was Black and Red. (My favourite combination of colours.)

Now, 20 years later, his backstory, move set, and everything else about the bastard I love.

I know it's weird, but I always liked fiction and when fantasy goes, I always rooted for arcane classes (mages, wizards, witches, what have you). So, when I played MK1 for a first time, and was like eleven years old I saw two spells-casting-like characters that weren't looking too modern: Raiden and Sub-Zero. Only Raiden wore a funny hat and pyjamas, Sub got cool ninja outfit and was BLUE! Sub, Raiden and later on Ermac became my favs, but Sub-Zero is my number one. Because all my pallies picked up either Scorp or Raiden in MK1, I become best friends with Sub against their cheating BS in corners.

Two characters have fit the way I like to play MK in every game, and that is Nightwolf and Liu Kang. So naturally, I mained Liu Kang day 1 in MKX. I still play Liu in Flame Fist only, but now I consider Tremor my main. I was absolutely blown away by his design, brutalities, and moveset. I wasn't one of those guys signing petitions and shit before the game was out, but looking back....I love everyone who begged NRS for Tremor.

I've been playing the sisters since MK2. Not much more to it.

I always pick my toons simply because I think they look cool. Usually a sexy chick or someone that has badass looking moves.

So for me it is solely aesthetics that make me pick one toon over the others but there sometimes after a while you realise the style they have doesn't suit you. Like I really wanted to play Tanya but I just can't get into how she plays even though she looks badass.

Once a green lantern always a green lantern. So I chose Ermac and opted for "We are many, you are one". I guess I always need a squad at my post match celebration no matter if it's physical or spiritual. Also, picked up Mr. Briggs because he's my replacement for John Stewart.

I like all of the ninjas. Scorpion, Sub Zero, Ermac, Reptile, Smoke, etc. When the game first came out I mained Scorpion because he was the tutorial character.

Once I played a little with every character, I decided to stick with Kung Lao. He has everything I want in a character.
