MK is kinda dope
You are saying the game isn't balanced. I'm saying it is and provided evidence that it is. Until tournament results start showing only the same 5-6 chars, it's balanced. Don't know what else to tell you.

Like I said the results have nothing to do with the matchup. Someone could get nervous, not know the matchup, get screwed by the input bug, get a cold, stick isn't working etc. Those variables should not be construed as objective evidence that the game is balanced.

It is, actually. You can do a matchup chart and on paper, obviously, some chars will be better than others. On paper. That's what you are not understanding. If somebody picked up this game and looked at tournament results, they would see every char can win. The game has been out since April, it doesn't matter who's nervous or who knows the matchup, screwed by input bug or whatever other excuse you can throw in there. Games balance cannot be argued at this point

Is it ok to give feedback to Cdjr's chart about Jax? You know? Since I'm not a top player or anything. I'm just a lonely Jax main from Chicago.

Nowhere in my first post did I say you can't post here, no need for the sarcasm. Post whatever you want as long as it's on topic. I've already gotten input from the players I needed, doesn't mean the community can't ask questions

English isn't my first language so I must have misunderstood that statement then. Thank you for clarifying.
I find it hard to believe any single person has never played anybody offline. I removed part of my first post because people seem to be picking at it. I shouldn't have to be defending myself for something I'm busting my ass for for the community

Dont have much experience vs the DLC fighters yet that will have to wait a bit. I know i m probably gonna get flamed for this MU chart but thats my opinion. Ermac is not that weak that ppl make him to be.

EDIT: If you want any explanation about some MU you might not agree i ll be glad to answer them.

Kitana vs.

Scorpion: 6-4.

Liu Kang: 4.5 - 5.5 key thing with this is that I've never actually seen a Liu that punishes d+1 with b+3. It sounds like Kitana player FUD honestly. Any match vids?

Kung Lao: 6-4

Sub-Zero: 7-3. Yes it's that bad.

Sindel: 6-4. Again haven't played much post patch yet.

Ermac: 6-4

Reptile: 4-6

Johnny Cage: 6-4

Jade: 6-4. I honestly don't even know much about Jade but I still blow up every Jade I play. There's nothing Kit specific about this, Jade just sucks lol.

Mileena: 4-6.

Nightwolf: 6-4.

Cyrax: 5.5 - 4.5. My gut is 6-4. I've never played a Cyrax that could deal with Kit zoning but going 5.5 because of the damage factor.

Noob Saibot: 5-5. I don't see how Konqrr can punish up knee on reaction. He's crazy.

Smoke: 5-5

Sektor: 5-5

Sonya: 6-4

Jax: 6-4

Kano: 4-6.

Stryker: 5 -5. I don't know about this one. She can't zone him but it's not like he's JC when he gets in. You don't even have to struggle to get in, he'll come to you.

Shang Tsung: 5-5. I have no strong feelings about this one way or another.

Baraka: 7-3. I guess? Full screen EX charge probably helps a lot.

Kabal: 3.5-6.5. Maybe I'm just salty.

Raiden: 4-6

Cyber Sub-Zero: 7-3. Kitana blows up Sub even with cybernetics.

Sheeva: 7-3

Quan Chi: Not sure. this is an interesting one. Why are Kitana players so convinced it's 6-4? Zoning him out is harder than it sounds.

Skarlet: I honestly have no idea

Kenshi: 3.5 - 6.5. This sucks so bad.

Rain: 6-4 I guess. I don't know.

Freddy: LOL who knows?

Baraka Lova
Baraka ... my first Match up list
Alright, I have been asked to participate in this. So, I will give my opinion. Thanks to all Baraka players for sharing info.

Now, here is a thing for all the MK9 communities in here: My opinion is is just an opinion and does not generalize to all MK9 players. because experience, knowledge, fast reflexes and agility play vital role in winning any match.

Baraka is basically underrated because of a simple reason: People do not find solutions easily when they play him. This is why we do not see many Baraka players.

Here is my list:

5.5-4.5 vs Cyber Sub-Zero (or little more to Baraka)
4-6 vs Cyrax
5-5 vs Ermac
4-6 vs Freddy Krueger
4.5-5.5 vs Jade
4.5-5.5 vs Jax
4-6 vs Johnny Cage
4-6 vs Kabal (or worse)
5-5 vs Kano (or 4.5-5.5)
5-5 vs Kenshi (or 4.5-5.5)
4-6 vs Kitana
4-6 vs Kung Lao
5-5 vs Liu Kang
4-6 vs Mileena
4.5-5.5 vs Nightwolf
4.5-5.5 vs Noob Saibot
4.5-5.5 vs Quan Chi
3.5-6.5 vs Raiden
5-5 vs Rain (or 4.5-5.5)
5-5 vs Reptile
5.5-4.5 vs Scorpion
5-5 vs Sektor
6-4 vs Shang Tsung
5.5-4.5 vs Sheeva
5-5 vs Sindel
5-5 vs Skarlet
5.5-4.5 vs Smoke
5-5 vs Sonya Blade (or 4.5-5.5)
5.5-4.5 vs Stryker
5-5 vs Sub-Zero

Baraka match up have defnately improved after the patch update. example: match ups against Scorpion and Sindel are easier now than before

Botom line: Baraka is closing on 50% game.

Bravo Moe

Baraka Lova
Bravo - Could you explain why you think Baraka still loses to Mileena? I have yet to play any Barakas since the latest patch so I don't know how his buffs affect this matchup.
Basically this is my opinion. Mileena can do alot against any character. Experience and reading player makes the change. Baraka need very good meter management to win any match. If you run out of Bars then you have very low chance with Baraka.

Mileena, Kabal and Kitana are examples of characters who can easily win meter back from distance with out pressure and thus they are top characters.

That match can be as high as 4.5-5.5 vs. Mileena (but generally speaking 4-6)

Mr. Mileena

Champion
Kitana Match Ups

6-4 Baraka
He can keep up a pretty good zoning game, his blade charge can help, the way Permodius plays him proves Baraka to be Deadly. F 2+1 a blocked blade charge for punish. Can be D+1 out of some strings.

8-2 Cyber Sub Zero
Kitana can outzone him, recover fast enough from air fans to block his dash, can punish his teleport, can d+1, air fan, fan lift, and even cutter his parry, none of these will freeze kitana.

5.5-4.5 Cyrax
The only problem with Cyrax now, is his DAMAGE, it used to be about a 6.5-3.5, but if you get caught, you WILL eat insane damage. Be careful when zoning, do not get caught by a net, punish buzzaw with F+2, 1, and punish his teleport with D+1 fan, 2 fan lift, and proceed the combo.

4.5-5.5 Ermac
For some reason, I have so much trouble trading projectiles with him, the moment my air fan actually gets the chance to hit him first, he teleports and combos after it, his d1 lift is scary as well. Patience is vital against ermac. bait out his lifts, and expect him to cross you over a lot, so be prepared.

Freddy- No match up exp.

6-4 Jade
At first, I had trouble with her, but the key is patience. Also, she will glow ALOT, so you must get the instant ass teleport down. It gets them all the time. Duck her U+3, and follow with F2, 1, duck her shadow kick, and follow up with 2,1, cutter, or 2,1 fan lift.

6.5-3.5 Jax
IAF all day, very hard for him to get in, once he does, his pressure is deadly. it is important to end your combos with a normal + square boost if you are approaching near a corner, square boost to get you back to midscreen and repeat zoning.

6-4 Johnny Cage.
Almost same method as Jax, Cage's projectiles aren't deadly due to Kitanas fast recovery, so he must resort to time his EX shadow kick, simply bait him out, and punish his kick. Again, it is important to end a combo with square boost if you are too close to a corner, stay midscreen to avoid frame traps, and zone him out.

3-7 Kabal
His instant air fireballs shuts kitanas zoning game down. His mixups are great, he can get in with ex nomad dash and time your ground fans right to go through them both at the startup of his ex dash, great rush in, you must Block dash + d+1 to get in, something i realized and didnt do was, if u manage to get in d+1 distance, when hes throwing projectiles, d+1, ground fan, 2 fan lift, proceed to combo., Ex square wave is your friend, but make sure to insta it, i failed to do so, and went over Kabal, where Kabal gets a free punish. Make sure your EX square wave is low enough to hit him. His rush down is scary, but his zoning is scarier, do not allow him to escape from you.

4.5-5.5 Kano
His zoning will beat Kitanas, so you must get in. His upball can be punished by 2,1 fan lift. Be patient, punish when need be, and don't opt to play a zoning game with Kano, he will win.

4-6 Kenshi- He will completely zone you out, also, do not mash D+1, he will punish with his uplift sword. Again, Ex square wave is your friend, punish his moves when need be, do not allow yourself to grow distant from him.

6-4 Kung Lao
Kitana can out zone him, she can D+1 blocked low hat, when he teleports, duck his attack, and punish as he goes down with 2, fan, 2 fan lift, proceed to combo. When he ex teleports, mash D+1 to avoid attack, or jump back, and throw a delayed air fan.

3.5-6.5 Lui Kang
Lui Kangs low fireball is the same as Sindels, your fans will go through them, and will more than likely hit you. His pressure game is hard, you cannot rely on D+1 consistently, as his low starter WILL punish you. You can't outzone him, so you must rush in, but think carefully at the same time. Expect his EX bicycle kick to be thrown out if you are pressuring him, bait d3, as he will tend to do b3 after, walk back and EX fan lift, or cross jump kick + air fan. This is a tough one for Kitana in my opinion.

6-4 Mileena
Before I thought this was a 3.5-6.5, but Mileena is not scary at all as a Kitana Player. Patience is vital, bait out her roll, and punish with 4ground fan, 2 fan lift (you may 4 fan lift instead of 2, but I stay on the safe side), punish her teleport with 2, fan, 2 fan lift, her ex teleport +sai can be punished by D+1 cutter, now, NEVER do more than 2 D+1 in a row, her roll will punish you, instead, do 1, or 2, and bait her roll, and proceed to punish. RESPECT her teleport kick, never throw more than 1 air fan in a row, I probably wouldn't recommend jumping against mileena at all. D+1, ground fan as she starts up her U4.

6-4 Nightwolf
Her D+1 stops most of his offensive strategies. It's funny, you can actually zone nightwolf. When he reflects your air fan, if you throw out another one, the one reflected back at you will disappear, and the one you threw out will keep heading towards him. Purposely whiff an air fan higher than him, and punish his reflect with a ground fan, or f+2 1 if in distance.

5-5 Noob Saibot
Due to this recent patch, noob proves to give Kitana trouble. He can outzone her pretty well, but you can punish his up shadow with F+2, 1, and block a tackle , and dash in D+1.

6-4 Quan Chi
Make sure, no matter what character you play, to memorize his strings and how they hit.
His mixups are crazy.
His teleport and trance can be punished with F2, 1, not much to this character, like i said, memorize and study his strings.
Zone at the farthest distance, do not try and jump fan near, him, his trance reaches far.

3.5-6.5 Raiden
God his stupid teleport beats out fans, his superman is dangerous, once you're in the corner it's scary. Minimize your air fans, bait out his superman, and be ready for a teleport and perhaps a cross up. D+1 his tele, 2,1 his tele on good reaction. This character has the tools to beat Kitana

5-5 Rain
Not enough match up to give out details.

4.5-5.5 Reptile
His zoning will beat yours out once he gets it going.
If you're fast enough, your air fans will beat out his spit, but when he manages to get a booger ball out, that's when it gets scary.
Air fan, ground fan, air fan, ground fan works well too. Ex square wave is nice on instant reaction, will go thru his projectiles.
Punish dash with 2,1 fan lift.
It is hard since youre left waiting for his dash, and that messes with your offensive game.
Not impossible, but a pretty difficult matchup

6-4 Scorpion
D+1 out of his Ex teleport, D+1, ground fan out of his regular teleport. Hes heavily punished by blocked teleport + spear. Not too difficult.

4.5-5.5 - Sektor.
His zoning is pretty decent, his frame trap is a bitch to get out of, sometimes, Ex fan lift, as the fan lift will destroy the missle, and sektor will probably be jumping in you, and he'll get caught. dont make it a habit tho, mix it up. Respect his teleport as well, don't whip out too many air fans.

4-6 Shang Tsung-
The only time you should ever throw an IAF is at full screen distance away from him. At any other distance, his skulls may hit you.

7.5-2.5 Sheeva
You can outzone her, when you see a tele coming out, you can fan lift to catch her, D+1 works well, sheeva has a big hitbox so cutter, fans, are easier to hit. D+1 her grabs, Ex grabs, square boost her telestomp, not much sheeva can do vs kitana.

4-6 Sindel
Sindel is a pain in the neck for Kitana. Sindel wins the zoning game, she can Low fireball to miss an air fan, if you try and square boost, sindel will db2 (yell) and catch you in it) if sindel can space you correctly, Kitana will be in trouble. Be patient and jump over her projectiles, until you get in. Instant square boost helps too.

5.5-4.5 Skarlet.
Punish her teleport with 2,1, fan lift. Her knives aren't scary, just don't get in the habit of zoning her, she will teleport to punish. D+1 her slide on reaction

5.5-4.5 Smoke
Air fan a missed smoke bomb. Smokes will shake a lot, so instant square boost to punish the shake.

6-4 Sonya
She has a pretty hard time getting in on Kitana. If you IAF rapidly, youll land on the ground to block sonyas projectile in time. Sometimes, her dive kick goes through Kitana during D+1 animation. Not much sonya can really do when she can't get in on Kitana. When she's in, Respect her meter, as EX cartwheel may be thrown out.

4.5-5.5 Stryker
Strykers buff really helped him out on this one. He can zone you out pretty well, so Ex square boost comes in handy. Once youre near him, hes not too scary. Just don't let him zone you,

6-4 Sub Zero
IAF him all day, make sure to be careful throwing out IAF, if you're in slide distance. Square boost away from corners, being careful not to be baited by him, expecting your square boost. Dont ever jump into him, and avoid the corners.

Total- 153 (not including Freddy)

A F0xy Grampa

Problem X Promotions
Reserving this post for when I've written up Sonya's matchups. (Probably gonna be partially updated from time to time) This wont include Freddy considering theres like 2 people on the planet that play him.

Sonya Vs Scorpion 5-5: As for any character in the game if you get caught in Scorpions vortex you are gonna have to guess your way out. So there is no real answer for that which is the main reason this match is a 5-5. At fullscreen you can shoot rings at him to bait a response, not for damage. If your ring trades with a hellfire he gets another free hellfire, so use it carefully. Any special he does however you can punish by just dashing in and divekicking once you've made the read. His 334 wont be able to keep you out because Sonyas D4 is so long. Once you start a blockstring into MS be careful of his meter because he can ExSpear through your MS attack/cancel. You might be able to bait the spear and block it because I know it works against Kabals ExDash but I havent tested it against Scorp.

On reaction to his ExTeleport you can get a free crossover divekick/JIP if timed properly, so that shouldnt be an issue. If you do happen to block his ExTeleport and you know that you're being frametrapped afterwards you can get an ExCartwheel out when he tries a 334.

Sonya Vs Sub-Zero 4-6: The main issue with this matchup is that Sonya cant build meter effectively while Sub is sat behind his clone. You can jump his iceballs and whiff an air grab which will build you the most, but then you're at threat of being ExIce Beamed. The ring is a good move to throw out from full screen because you will recover in time to trade with an ice ball.
Against his 212 string you're able to ExCartwheel through the last 2. This means that hes gonna have to 214/224 you every time he wants a blockstring. Play this matchup like a turtle. get the lifelead and run, once there is an opening to attack you're probably better off going for blockstrings/MS attacks since the opportunity to land combos against Sub is alot rarer than other characters. Play fullscreen to try to get chip damage on him with the ring.

If the Sub player is throwing ice directly behind a clone the angle of the divekick means you can full combo punish him regardless of there being a clone there where a normal JIP wouldnt.

Sonya Vs Reptile 6-4: From roughly 3/4 to half screen if you see a forceball being made you can divekick over it to combo punish him. From fullscreen you can shoot rings all you want because it will force him to use acid spit meaning you wont have to fear any forceballs littering the screen. Since reptile lacks any good anti airs it means you can be airbourne alot of the time too which means his dash wont be able to hit you, this opens up the option for alot of free JIPs/Divekicks.
If he retaliates, the divekick will also hit a dash thats still active since you're in the air. His ExSlide serves no purpose for him strategically in this matchup. You can punish a dash with a 114 combo too. Punish the slide with any Divekick combo you want if he ever throws one out. However, dont be too divekick happy because Reptile can punish the divekick with a dash everytime, use it just enough to make them fear it to free up a JIP.

Sonya Vs Ermac 5-5: From full screen you can shoot rings faster than he can shoot his projectile. Ideally against Ermac you wanna be full screen or directly infront of him. The reason this is a 5-5 is because if the Ermac player makes a bad push too close you can Divekick punish for 45%, if not you can at least get a blockstring into MS. The lift is obviously heavily punishable so divekick away. Ermac has no answer for your MS mixups which is another advantage for Sonya here. You can use the Arc Kick to close space but dont become predictable because if the Ermac player gets wise to it they can just push you out if it mid animation. Same as the Reptile match be careful with your divekicks because Ermac can lift you on block, again use it to make them fear it so you can free up a JIP.

Sonya Vs Noob 3-7: This matchup is insanely annoying. His upshadow beats anything you can do to get near him. Learn the maximum range that an armoured Cartwheel can connect from and use it to punish any clone he throws out when you have meter. When you dont have meter D4 into MSF1 is good to get close so long as he isnt throwing out the Upknee which will beat out your D4. At full screen you can trade projectiles with him because the ring is so fast on recovery. But obviously you dont wanna fight him fullscreen at all. The divekick is pretty useless in this matchup because of his UpKnee. The redeeming factor for Sonya in this matchup is her comeback factor, her high damage/mixups are basically what will win her this fight. Other than that you're just gonna have to learn how the opponent reacts to everything you do and find the according punish to it.

Sonya Vs Smoke 6-4: He cant chip you to hurt you. It doesnt matter if he has meter because you can win the whole match on D4 MS and blockstring MS mixups. Divekick punishes his smoke bomb too. If you get caught in his airthrow - teleport oki an Ex Cartwheel will sort him out straight away. Which means he will either have to cross over next time or just not try to attack you on wakeup so long as you have meter.

Sonya Vs Rain 5-5: His armour is nice and all but its limited, as well as that if you predict an armoured RH from him you can Ex Cartwheel him back to beat it. His anti airs become a lot less useful since you have the divekick. If they wanna try to RH Cancel on you all day just crossover or divekick if you know the kick is being cancelled. His cancel is more of a risk to him than it is to you. However when you do 114 MS cancel against him you can get a cross over easier than he can get a RH cancel crossover since he has alot of pushback.

Sonya Vs Mileena 6-4: Sonya is one of the few characters than can punish her ball roll with a full combo, as soon as the ball is blocked blow a kiss then go straight into her divekick combo. Shoot in between her air sai to either pace her or knock her out of the air which will either stop the sai from coming or bait a telekick which you can punish with 1 MSB2 B21Cartwheel 112 MS. A D4 happy Mileena will have such a shitty time when they realise the divekick owns it. You can also take the piss a bit because you have the same D4 but she has no answer to it. Shes also free to use your MS mixups on once you land a blockstring since she has no armour.

Sonya Vs Kitana 5-5: This matchup definitely isnt in Kitanas favour, Ive learnt that you can shoot a ring to keep Kitana out of the air or knock her out of the air. Square wave is punishable by divekick, sniff out a D1 and Divekick or ExCartwheel. If you got the lifelead just sit fullscreen and duck, not much she can do then. If shes throwing air fans close enough you can duck them, dash in and anti air 1 while shes doing her little backwards summersault, turn this into the standard AA combo. She is also another character that has to just guess when it comes to MS mixups so have fun :D But ultimately this matchup will be pretty dry. If the Kitana player wants to lame it out they have a 50/50 chance of winning depending on the life lead, if they wanna get near you theyre pretty much dead.

Sonya Vs Jade 6-4: Her glow doesnt really mean much her because MS mixups are over so fast you can just get out straight away. Sonyas damage is too big for Jade to be able to compete with. She has no good anti airs to rely on to take you out of the air. She also has no worrying punishment for the divekick.

Sonya Vs Skarlet 6-4:

Sonya Vs Sektor 5-5:

Sonya Vs Cyrax 5-5: At full screen use the ring to discourage him from throwing bombs and sneak in a bit of damage. Hes another character that you're free to use your MS mixups on after a blockstring so long as he doesn't have X-Ray. When you're full screen shooting rings be sure to keep an eye on the Cyrax players position on the screen, if they start moving slowly towards you and are still shooting projectiles it means theyre trying to get a net trade, so prepare yourself for a net accordingly.

Sonya Vs Cyber Sub 6-4:

Sonya Vs Kenshi 4-6:

Sonya Vs Sindel 6-4:

Sonya Vs Jax 6-4: May aswell stay midscreen, divekick groundpounds on reaction, since alot of his damage will come from AA jabs you can take advantage of it. As always once he respects the DK use a JIP to land blockstrings into MS mixups. Jax's F413 shouldnt be a threat to you because you can jab him inbetween it. If they try to do an overhead smash on you after any other move than his 2 1 string you can attempt to break it with a standing 1 into a juggle.

Sonya Vs Cage 5-5: Stay away and chip him with the ring as much as you can, eventually you're gonna have to go toe to toe. Use D4 from mid range, ring from long range, and when he eventually gets to you remember that you have a safe armoured Cartwheel to beat a string or a divekick to beat a poke. However, if he blocks your cartwheel his frametraps begin again and the same for the divekick.

Sonya Vs Stryker 5-5: The gun cuts off all of the air from full screen to mid range. Once you're near him he is free to MS mixup once you land a blockstring because his armoured moves come out too slow to interrupt.

Sonya Vs Liu 5-5: Similar to Kabal his iAFB can make it a pain, but once you knock him down he's yours. Use a D3 to get him up, or if theyre not playing dead use D4 into MS. If you're being stuck in his F12 punches and you know a poke will follow you can counter his poke with a divekick combo.

Sonya Vs Nightwolf 5-5: D4 his shoulder, dont uppercut it. D4 gives you enough room to move in for a blockstring and MS mixup which is worth way more. Lightning is punishable by divekick combo even from full screen. His shoulder can take you out of the air but the tradeoff for the risk of it isnt in his favour.

Sonya Vs Kung Lao 5-5: Even prepatch KL was punished heavily for throwing low hats, now that he is nerfed the low hat has more window of punishment, use 114 or divekick if they try to do anything after a blocked low hat, preferably do 114 because its safer and can lead to a MS mixup if they block it in preparation for your counter. A blocked spin can be even more heavily punished now with B21F2.

Sonya Vs Kano 5-5: His upball > Sonyas Divekick. His Knife > Her ring. However she is still superior up close because of the MS. Use the Arc Kick to get in close once you anticipate a knife being thrown. To punish the upball your best bet is to just do 114.

Sonya Vs Kabal 4-6: So long as you spend the match ducking fireballs to not let him chip you, you have to force him to come near you or at least stop him fireballing you. MSF1 goes under iAFBs and is special cancellable even on whiff. You can create a mind game with the Kabal player with this move. MSF1 into ring will bring her under the iAFB (using the F1) and then instantly shoot a ring. Also when close enough you can do an ExCartwheel to knock him out of his fireball spam. Upclose Kabal doesnt wanna know Sonya, if he cancels his dash into anything other than a block he's eating a divekick or a divekick combo, this will mean that they will end up just taking their 50/50 and getting away from you.

Sonya Vs Baraka 6-4: His normals are just too slow to fight her, at range his projectile is also too slow. His armour doesnt really matter because it just puts Sonya away from him where shes considerably better.

Sonya Vs Shang 5-5: His infront upskulls will beat the aggressive playstyle Sonya needs. However, in general she just out speeds him, use the ring to piss him off at full screen, but not so much than he can trade with a ground skull. Stay constantly on the move so its harder for him to pinpoint where he wants his skulls to be if you're not right in his face. Arc Kick actually has some use here.

Sonya Vs Quan Chi 6-4:

Sonya Vs Raiden 6-4: Seriously not much to worry about here, when he teleports you can divekick him if he does anything other than block, once thats established you can either stop him from teleporting or start to play the mind games around his teleport.

Sonya Vs Sheeva 7-3:

Something is not right with this chart. You can look at it for 1 minute and notice that it has inconsistencies all over the place. How do you lose to Baraka but you beat Cage and Liu Kang? How do you beat Cage but go even with Kabal (whose pressure is just as good as cage)? Prepatch, everyone was in unison that Mileena loses to Jade. Without any significant changes to Mileena or Jade, the matchup is now in Mileena's favor. How did that change?
Later you said that you can glow through Cage's pressure and she can keep him away. Why can't we apply that same logic to Kabal and Sonya and call it 6-4 in Jade's favor?
Finally, what's up about the Sub-Zero matchup? All he got was a slide buff and now its 5-5 when he has the same approach options as cage with a weaker upclose game.

This chart needs to be revised.

Mr. Kitana, the jax kitana match up is not 6.5-3.5 i see that fight often home, and jax cant be outzoned the way people think anymore, you talk like you can do iafs all day, when jax have a meter you cant do that, he will ex dash on reaction, and be right there next to you, a smart jax will get at a good distance just in case you square wave he can dash punch you before you land on the other side, guess what? after you hit ground he wont let you fly again, his projectiles got way faster recovery and ground pound mind games wont let you go in. believe jax will always have meters for kitana to be afraid of doing any fans or maybe you will give him some by the damage caused by fans, not even kabal cant beat jax like this anymore. personally i've seen cd jr and erik warda go at it and its insane how jax can dominate this fight also against kitana, honestly i think the match went in jax favor, on my list the fight JAx vs Kabal/kitana went 6-4 in jax favor, maybe you wont believe me but there are not many good jax out there who can prove this besides tyrant and cd jr, but still tyrant plays too aggresive while jr is more patient and react better against zoning, i cant even zone him with noob saibot he justt get on jumping distance and up kicks are punished by dash punch, and anticipated shadows are jumped and he gets in and destroy poor noob, noob weakness is jumping distance, cant take chances of doing 8% dmg by a jp full combo.

MK11 Kabal = MK9 Kitana
Been thinking a lot about the Jax vs Kitana matchup. Theorizing in my head, reading what those crazy dominicans are doing on the EC, etc.

Jax approaches the Kitana/Kabal match like Kitana does the Smoke match. Staying around jump distance and punishing everything they do. Jax starts with a meter. Kitana can only do d1 from range safely. Jax can punish d1 with f413 right? Once Kitana is cornered, it's over. Her damage saves her. d1 stops everything he tries. iAF safely from 3/4 to fullscreen only unless Jax has no meter. When I read CDjr saying jax/kit was 5-5, I laughed, but reflecting on it for a week now, I tend to agree that it is close to that, probably 5.5-4.5 Kitana when she plays like a bitch and punishes everything.
