I pushed Y on the main menu, downloaded the horror pack, and then went to the training mode before it finished downloading. Worked for me

Not sure about a patch--do they usually patch on Tuesday's as well as DLC/game release?

Thanks for those confirming. Anyone that it doesn't work for, let us know what's happening. Would be curious to see if both systems it's just totally random who can get the downloads installed early. That's the key, not the character select trick--that's worked for over a week now to see Jason on the character select screen.

Only works if you have xbox one set to instant on. In energy saver mode it won't work.

My Xbox is on "instant on" but it won't turn off during the load screen unless I hold it down and that's a hard reset right?

I had to put it to instant on and turn xbox off during loading screen. When i turned it off when it was fully loaded it would make me re sign in. Working now

You don't need to turn it off during the load screen necessarily. Just load up the match in practice, once there, turn it off by just pressing the button not holding. Give that a try, let me know if it works.

Interesting! Wonder why it makes you sign back in. Do you have your profile set to require password rather than remember?
