Guys you might need to reboot again because the hotfix patch is on the way. And thanks to all who hit me up on PSN to let me know the patch was out. Appreciated!

i'm testing her as we speak. pretty sweet! i feel like they increased the recovery on her yell, though. and the -3 negative edge frames feel weiiiirrrd!
Yeah she is going to be all right. I'm going to need help with her combos though. I think I can get the basic zoning style down.

So okay like N.E has been severely nerfed! This is awesome news. Now I can dash cancel low poke (d+1 or 3) with Jade/Sindel without worry, when before I had to worry about throwing rangs or fireball on accident. This was my biggest issue to be honest.

Sheeva's anti air throw is NIIIIIIIIIIICE!!! And real armor on EX Telestomp is basically a get out of the corner with "a bar of meter card". LOVE IT!

A GREAT DAY TO BE A MK PLAYER!!! ^_^

the negative edge nerf feels weird. i hate that i can't do a combo and then hold up+right to jump =/
and the input bug still remains. my uppercuts are still ducks and my xrays are still blocks.

I didnt felt that much difference, only believe it was really patched when I tried 212 freeze, Ex Ground Freeze :p

Then I tested Noobs overhead and Baraka d1 and confirmed it.

BUT I still can f32 nut punch with Johnny.. hotfix?

Tried the patch quickly. Overall JIP feels the same, most basic strings still jail; even Smoke's, with whom I tested it as well for reference. Though I only tested with the training dummy using the "jump method". Probably once I get on a real match is when I'll realize the true extent of the change; specially online with lag, dropped inputs, and whatnot where it will probably make people (likely including me) cry salty tears, lol.

Dashing feels slower overall due to the normalization. EDIT: Scratch that, I was doing dash blocking wrong, smh. Dash blocking makes up for it.

One thing that I'm loving is that Sektor's damage output was never touched upon, not ever!; the general damage nerf from ver 1.02 doesn't count.

Of course you can. They never said you couldn't cancel :r + :fk :bp into Nut Punch, it simply doesn't combo anymore; in other words, the opponent can block the Nut Punch coming from that string. Think of the Ermac nerf where :bp :bp can no longer true combo into Telelift.

Is this patch out for xbox 360? if so i might give this game a go again haven't played it in like 2 months the lag killed it for me.

As a online and Cage player, i feel in troubles now, before was hard to deal with the Elbow Dash, but now, is even harder, the recovery cancel, by it self and the subtle nerfs to Johnny turns this impossible if my rival decides to spam for the win. :'(

Oh and one last, perhaps it is just me, but I was messing around with Reptile, taking a look to his new slide armor, and felt that 3,2,1, Elbow Dash, Neutral Jump Punch was easier to connect? Did I smoke something or anyone else noticed that?
