Fradulent Players in IGAU

I think there may be some misunderstanding as to what I am trying to say with this post, it may be due to poor wording or lack of reading comprehension. I am not complaining or asking for advice about DS, I just thought wanted to see if anyone wanted to discuss why people think and act the way they do when they play fighting games specifically those who choose an easy to play character with lack-luster strategies.

Scrub God Lord
Posts like this are why people think the FGC is full of children. Is it really impossible to answer his post without calling him a scrub? People have different skill ceilings, and maybe his is that he has problems with Deathstroke.

Stop being such an ass and give him actual advice; calling him names and repeating how bad he is at the game is teaching him absolutely nothing.
the world would be a better place if we had one of you for every 10 daves.

preferences.
some people like rush down characters others zoners.
some people don't want to think too much when using a character, that's why NRS always has those characters.

I like Tekken 8
Why do people bump into other ppl without saying excuse me?
Why do they splash people on the side of the road with water(albeit is funny)?
Why do people counter pick sub-zero with Kenshi?

People are just dicks.

Bro I have played iiiincorruptable several times and whenever I win he freaks the fuck out and rage quits, his score is BS. He even quits sometimes when he doesnt get a stage he likes. He plays like that because he has no idea how to interact up close at all, he not only cant block well, he has no up close offense aside from triple cross up j3s and grabs. I once did a very long complicated deathstroke combo on his spamming dstroke and his mind exploded and he quit, he had just finished justifying his "zoning" by saying deathstroke doesnt have any real combos.

Anyone who buys a 60 dollar game to run away and press the same projectile move ad infinitum should 'zone' themselves in the head with a shotgun

Really, TYM? Really?

20+ posts in and someone has yet to call this moron a scrub. Admittedly, calling people scrubs is never nice, but someone has to be the bad guy and do it.

You are a scrub. Deathstroke's zoning is not "decent". It used to be decent before scrubs like you cried about the character. Deathstroke's zoning is very unsafe. Any player who is not a scrub, which, however, you are, is able to manage a projectile that recovers in 25 frames.

Go back to GameFAQs.

Because some players care more about arbitrary numbers on a leader board than actually improving. Don't hate these players, just accept that they exist and move on with your day. These boards, for the most part at least, are full of people that want to improve and enjoy seeing a return on their efforts. Never call a strategy cheap if you cannot beat it. Spend your time finding a solution rather than complaining about it and you're well on your way. Also, read this and information like it.

TYM's Confirmed Prophet/Time-Traveler
I need to preface this by saying I have no problem with people who play Deathstroke legitimately, this is more so directed at fraudulent players in general.

After about a year or so of playing IGAU online and enjoying it for the most part, I have noticed a trend among the top place leader board holders, many of them play the most fraudulent Deathstrokes I have ever seen. Now of course I'm sure many people have already discussed something similar to this topic, however I have a different question to pose.

Too many times have I seen players who simply have one tactic and if they cannot execute their plans often they get blown up and simply make no effort to try and change up what they are doing. Which brings us back to Deathstroke and how seemingly there is an outline on how to play him in the most simplistic, and many times most effective at gaining wins over actually good players (only online based on the amount of Deathstroke players that place in tournies). This usually involves abuse of Deathstroke's decent zoning (albeit, very easy to execute in comparison to someone like Zod or MMH) and his retreating J3.

Now from many first reference accounts of this strategy actually beating out other much more skilled and knowledgeable players in KOTH matches, it made me wonder, how is it possible for someone to have the deluded idea that they are actually better than most of the other people who play IGAU online, as well as the idea that it is fun doing the same strategy for every game and every match-up, never trying to adapt to how anyone else is playing, just hoping your opponent won't have a direct counter strategy to yours.

For reference I will mention one of the many fraudulent Deathstrokes I have had the displeasure of playing, I believe he goes by the username INCORRUPTIBLE or some l33t variant of that on the PS4. This player has over 10000 wins and is at the top of the ranked leaderboards, which needles to say doesn't say much about a player'a skill based on how hard I bopped him once I figured out what he was doing, making him subsequently rage quit and refuse to play me again if we got matched up against each other.

Having this said, the way he played made me seriously question WHY, why would anyone want to play a game like this, especially for so long without any change. This also made me think if there will be any characters that cater to this type of behavior in MKX, anyway feel free to reply with any of your thoughts about this and possibly some answers if you can think of them (cause I sure can't).

P.S This is my first post so sorry if its too long or whatever and thanks taking the time to read it.

I mean...it's like walking into a room full of people...everyone is kinda getting along (mostly) and then you come in "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT!??? FUCK THIS LAMP! ALL OTHER LAMPS ARE COOL, BUT THIS LAMP USES IT'S BRIGHTNESS TO IT'S ADVANTAGE!!!"
I love this post.

The like button was not enough. I needed to make love to it. ;)

Online wins don't even matter, especially when the online is as bad as it is in Injustice. Deathstroke isn't even that good but online makes him better. Just another reason why MKX needs good netcode.

-Nightwing: B2 at the start of the match, then run away to use staff stance. From here its a barrage of ground blasts and if you get close they mash d1. If you knock them down, there's a 75% chance they will flying grayson you. The other 25% will be staff spin. Nightwings quit randomly so make sure to zone them out so they quit faster.
HAHAHA!

You just described my EXACT strategy in injustice. Obviously, I play Nightwing.

I never quit though!

staff stance is life! I figured... hell... ppl gonna be poking me after jips and interrupting strings by just sitting there mashing poke while they're blocking... then fuck it, imma be nightwing and d1 the hell out of them. Works too. lol

Well to be fair deathstroke is actually pretty darn good even offline, its just that abusing guns is NOT what makes him good. Obviously it works abusing guns online due to lag, but in reality deathstroke is quite good offline but it stems from his godlike f3, j3, solid 50/50 mixups, d2 and using guns as punishment for mistakes by the opponent. I know we have very few high level deathstroke players in the tournament scene but if you watch king hippo, MIT, Slips (when he played) and a few others it is obvious that he is a good (very probably top 10) character. At least in my opinion...

I know he's a solid character but I'd still argue that he's better online than offline.
