Check out the story vid near the end when cassie's fighting sindel. It looks like a giant bronze egg in the background. The shape is too odd to be just a bell imo. Theres some dragons on it too.

Im thinking onaga has something to do with it, especially with the kamidogus surfacing. Could be the last dragon egg being protected till he returns. Just a thought. With this next gen, i think hed be pretty badass

I think they will make all MK3D' story stack in mkx. Just like mk9 did with the MK2D's games. So you probably can expect different stories on mkx.

My only problem is, why it would be in the White Lotus Temple? Because if it is Onaga then shouldn't Quan Chi be protecting it in the Brotherhood of Shadows lair?

I was a bit skeptic about this comic after the first issue, but it has been building up to a pretty enjoyable story. I'm starting to really dig Kotal Kahn as a character.

I dont think thats white lotus temple, i didnt see anything to suggest it was. Also sindel and kitana are possesed(quan chi maybe).

I also dont think its his tomb. I think it could be the last known dragon egg, which when the blood of it is sacrificed, would grant him immortality. In the lore i read, it said some holy men still dedicated too onaga were to guard it, till his return. That could explain the temple.

I could be wrong. Im just bloody excited for this game. been playing it since 92.

IIRC, when they show the factions, they show the white lotus faction with this stage as a background:
But I agree it is a dragon's egg ...and the White Lotus are protecting it from the bad guys imo.

Yeah. The White Lotus probably defeated the worshipers and secured the egg so no one would wake Onaga. It makes sense.

But... what if Liu Kang is Onaga? :eek: lol jk

Not much since the last Twitter check but here's two things that are interesting.

We knew they were going to reappear in the comics anyway from earlier tweets by Shawn, but he does have plans for both Kenshi and Frost in the MKX comic storyline...


And secondly, most interestingly, a Ferra/Torr-igin story! (I'm sorry, that pun sucked) Chapter 19 will tell us more about the 2-in-1 character!

Onaga is definitely a possibility I guess. When you see the big ass blood thing at the end of the story trailer imo it does kind of look like wings for a second there. but idk I hope they explain what Shujinkos dumb ass is up to in this time line lol

There's a GOD in the daggers? From another realm? Who is a god from another realm? Lemme look it up on the wiki and see what I can find.

I'd love to see Shujinko come back in the comic at least. I always thought he was a cool character who gets a bad rap. If I were given the power to absorb other fighters styles by a supposed emissary from the Elder Gods and sent on an epic quest as a young man in the MK universe I'd probably fall for it as well.

If it's Daegon I swear to (no pun intended) god I will flip. If it's Taven I'll flip and cry at the same time.

I think there was a god of Chaos called Kochal mentioned in Deception...

But it's most likely Onaga.

The god in the daggers is most likely referring to the One Being.
