How is it "obvious" that Reiko has the hammer? The last we saw of it, Goro was beheading K'Etz with it. So if anything Goro would have it.

Because Reiko is a kind of mini ShaoKahn.

He is intelligent enough to pick it up. If Goro doesn't have it it's either Mileena (...) or Reiko. He just needs the helmet and he's good.

Goro could have very easily taken it and kept it for himself.

I am very entertained with this series. I'm enjoying the crap out of these comics. Also been using them for inspiration of a comic I got going now that I finally found the interest to work on it.

A couple of things that amused me is the random new dentures that Goro has. I don't know how long the latest issue comes after the last one, but eh... it would have been somewhat cool to see consistency with that but I'm not going to make a big fuss about it.

I also can't get over how much Sonya is reminding me too much of Jill Valentine and having her be seen in this cloak, jesus, put the hood up and throw her a mysterious mask and I give you Jill Valentine from Resident Evil 5. All that's missing is that shitty device on her chest and there. Neither characters are my favorite, which makes this even more amusing. However, I do like her character in the comics. I like the last few words she says to Kotal.

Besides its not like the whole thing isn't spoiled in the topic anyways, and its better to get the hype going.

And so what ?... Btw, Reiko have spies in Kotal's realm (Red Dragons) but he doesn't change the fact that Reiko will take the hammer sooner or later. Goro isn't a problem anymore (he wanted to kill him after all).

Yeah we know. We also see MMH and Kenshi in a back stage igau/mk9.

But you probably right, the hammer will be an interaction at the end imo.

Oh no, it sucks not knowing what's happening, what a tragedy. That's what the summaries are for in the OP. If you want to read it and you want to support NRS any way you can you'd buy them. It's 99 cents for gods sake. If you're buying MKX you can most definitely afford the comics.
We use spoilers to avoid it being spoiled for people who read the thread...and it does nothing for "hype". It's not fair to those who make the comics that people should just give a random youtuber thousands of views where thousands of dollars could've been made instead.

While normally I would agree completely, at the same time, the revenue they are making won't be affected at all by what we post here. People who plan to support the comic suddenly aren't going to not support it because someone posted a video. People who are interested in what happened and don't want to buy the comic won't buy it regardless. You are making the case that giving this guy some views is cheating NRS or the comic guy out of some serious scratch, but at the end of the day, its a drop in the bucket for them, and the only people who care are people who weren't going to buy anyways, or will buy regardless.

Picking through breadcrumbs is anti-hype. Meanwhile, someone giving a brief summary and voice overs is hard work. They deserve those views as much as the other people deserve my 99c per issue. Its not my fault that there is a bigger demand for the alternative. I'm all for supporting NRS, but I'm also all for supporting content developers and understanding that not everyone wants to or can shell out 99c for each 12 page book slip of paper they are going to read once or twice and then never again. You might be able to, but not everyone is.

The video isn't for you, its not for people like you, its not for people with your mentality. Its for people like me, like the common person who just wants to be on the up-and-up but doesn't want to or can't drop a dollar. Not everyone is getting MKX off the shelf, some people are waiting to get it as a gift, or saving every penny, or won't get it until its on sale. For those people, I'm being kind enough to let them know the developments in a format that would be revealed if I were to discuss it. I'm just ensuring someone else benefits as well, since at the end of the day the information going out isn't any different.
