Yeah, I'm sure that didn't happen for a full year. As in, as off April 2014, as you claimed, Arrow was not thought to be S+++ tier (or even close) by the general consensus. Also, a few of upplayers =/= everyone. Words mean things.

You just used a select few posts from people saying he's better than given credit for, that he's viable, and something said by...Playing 2 Win and JimmyPotato. I mean, I rest my case.

I really don't want to speak for Jack but good grief, you are smart enough to understand the difference between blaming A LOSS for a bad match-up (which everyone does and rightly so. I mean, in his very argument, Jack mentioned Batman losing to Aquaman and said if you run into a good Aquaman as a Batman player, your day is over), and blaming a career of bad results over a shitty character when they player wouldn't even do well with a better character.

using a low tier character is completely a player's own personal choice and if you lose playing said low tier character, that is your own damn fault, not your character's fault. you can acknowledge "yeah, it's a bad match-up" but don't blame your loss on the character you chose to learn. i didn't cry about tier shit every time one of Atlanta's Kenshi's tore my Kano a new asshole (fuck you Pig <3) because a) i KNEW he was awful and b) i chose to stick with him after knowing said awfulness.

if you're really only drawn to one certain character and it happens to be a bad one, stick with it baby because there are individuals out there who know your pain, but don't complain about their established shittiness after you get bopped.

that being said, i disagree with "you will need to step the fuck up and switch characters if you want to compete." Injustice is much more balanced than MK9 was and any character you want to use, you should be able to use... just understand you run a high risk of running into some baaaad match-ups along the way for your character, so grind those out the hardest. will you lose still? maybe, but that's the path you chose to walk, so blame ya damn self.

UPDATE: Googled "mollygans" and a lot of "molly gans" came up, must be some illuminati name. This site http://mollygans.blogspot.com/ looks like some kinda baby fetish site, which has me concerned.

That has nothing to do with anything though, cause I have had non alcoholic Eggnog. However, instead of mixing Rum into the Eggnog, I may have drank it straight up cause yolo and then washed it down with Eggnog.

Even injustice has unviable characters. What I was trying to say is, you lose the right to complain about not being able to win because you have brought that upon yourself by maining a shitter.

Yeah, because Coolwhip, who read the GA forums every day and paid close attention to whatever was said about GA should know. I mean, even with evidence, you say it didn't happen. Dear God, I don't get how some people don't get it.

No one is saying "yeah low tier mains blame their characters for their tournament low placings", because noone is stupid enough to come out and say that after a tournament anyway because they know they'd get blown the fuck up.

What people are saying, is that the only reason to constantly talk about how your character is low tier is because either:

a) You want extra props you get for winning with a low tier because you are obviously godlike for getting wins with low tier
or
b) You want people to think "ahh well he wasn't expected to win as he's using a low tier" so that the focus is more on the character you were using rather than you as the player.

This makes a win win for low tier mains as you get huge respect when you win and no blow ups when you lose.

There is no other reason to constantly talk about how you main a low tier if you don't conform to those mindsets. Forget about the the tiers and just enjoy your character if that's the case, if you keep bringing up that you main a low tier you're obviously doing it for a reason.

Why enter a tournament (which for 99% of us is completely irrelevant where we place) using a character YOU like, with whatever character that makes the game bearable for you to play, amirite?

It didn't go over my head. He said that I said that people shouldn't main low tier characters to compete which is absolute bullshit.

You're asking for them to give direct examples of when people have lost in tournaments and come out with the excuse that it was because of their character.
But them saying that people say they main a low tier character as a crutch doesn't mean that that case^ will have happened.
What they're saying (at least what I am) is that people saying their character is a low tier already implies that they are blaming any loss on that character and are using it as a crutch, without directly coming out and saying that that is why they lost in tournament. There's no other reason to constantly remind people that their character is low tier either wise.
