Just got home and hit it on the 2nd try so I will put it on youtube soon. On a side note, I recorded this on the PC version and I am now completely convinced that KF lags the game more than anyone I have played with so far. Her timing on PC is SOOOOOOOO much faster than it is on ps3/xbox...It is night and day you have to input stuff so much faster because her stuff is coming out faster in general. Pretty crazy...

Edit: Video is up!

If you're having to input moves faster it's because the game is lagging, not the other way around. It was a weird thing to wrap my head around once I got over monitor lag.

lmao trust me, the game is NOT lagging. This is running at a full 60 FPS with no drops. Playing on the same monitor that I use with the PS3. I think KF lags the game in general that slows thinks down a bit, it is strange.

Playing Killer Frost on console versus playing her on the PC is like night and day. Playing her on PC is like playing her on crack...I feel like execution is sped up 1.5x. The game runs so freaking good on PC it is ridiculous. Xbox might run the game better than PS3, but the execution is comparable. Xbox still can't hold the PC's jock.

I know I have posted about this like 50 times, but it is blowing my mind.

I've been incorporating whiffed 2 into my game heavily recently. 2 recovers so fast on whiff it's crazy.

1 usage has been, when full screen in a stalemate situation I'll just whiff it. Sinestro's and Martian's have been twitchy and gone for punishable stuff because they misread the 2 for a dagger/iceberg/trait.

Another gimmick is within dash range to throw it out while buffering slide. If they dash in the 2 will hit and slide will combo. If they use an advancing normal like B.Adam's B2 it can stuff it and full combo. Some other fun gimmicks up close are to do the whiff 2, then perform parry/d1 immediately after it recovers to catch attempted whiff punishes.

If you're intending to catch dashes/advancing normals, you can choose to not cancel 2 and just use the hitstun to confirm a 50/50.

Whiffing this and trait has created a really fun, gimmicky mind game that can put twitchier players on tilt.

So I've been toying with quick stands with Frost. She has some awesome options:

b1u3/f3, u3, 2, u3, 11b2~slide sets up the following:

just-frame b2: you land behind the opponent as they quickrise**
any other b2 tming: you land in front
22~mb.iceberg, f.dash, b2: you land behind at the last second
f112~mb.iceberg, f.dash, b2: opponent quickrises at your feet (this is the fastest quickrise I've developed)
2~mb.freeze, j2b2: opponent quickrises at your feet
etc.

**If you can't get the just-frame, there's an alternative set-up that has virtually the same effect without the execution barrier:
b1u3/f3, u3, 3~slide, b2

I would like to see you use this also Pig of the Hut says you was doing some werid cross up vortex on him hen yall played online can you tell me what it was. also iv been messing with vortex situations from iceberg as a combo ender after u3 the situation is they fall within f3 range so normal vortex 50/ 50 can apply here only way I see them getting out is tech roll read that and the slide catches tech roll tey can wake up but you can bait it so the will respect it for 50/50. also after mb iceberg as combo ender if you take a small step back go for jumping 3 it wont cross up but the arc of the jump looks confusing seting up a controllable slightly ambiguous cross up non cross up sit that opponents have to take noté to blk properly or eat another 38 percent.

The cross up he's referencing requires a little bit of execution but it's absolutely worth the pay off. I posted a video awhile ago, I'll repost it here for you:

Adding to this. This is really gimmicky and very swag:

b1u3/f3, u3, d2, slide, d2~mb.freeze

what happens here, when timed properly, is the opponent is forced into a quick stand via the second d2 where they can't duck and the command throw catches them. obviously rolling away escapes and back dashing escapes. the plus side is rolling and backdashing alone will not punish this, only a wake-up attack will. it's gimmicky, once per set kind of a thing, but it will catch people.

This is fun! Only took a little while in training to get it down. Although I have much more success with it by removing the U3 and just doing F3/B1U3, D2, Slide, D2, DBF2. Definitely swag!

Ive Been doing this set up lately it kinda catches ppl off guard if they not paying attention to the spacing its a j3 cross up non cross up situtaion that can be blocked only properly tho. alil gimmick I kinda messed around with getting the idea from GLs j3 setup. opinions welcomed.
How it works is end a combo with mb iceberg and tap back once then attempt cross up j3 the jump arc changes at the last second landing you in front instead. If they dont see you changed the spacing a tad you can catch them its a gimmick but its been working for me lately.

Can you do the same setups off of u3? Might be another good wrinkle for the meterless vortex. I am not sure I wanna use meter for it, but gimmicks are always fun :)

I think it would work best against non directionally immune wakeups like BG, DS, and teleporters like shazam and Ares. Gonna try this out on myself and see how easy/hard it is to block. It looks stylish too ;)
I'm pretty sure you can just tech roll the ice berg. Or is MB a HKD?

@astronout Good games yesterday lol put me through a gauntlet of characters interesting it was on wifi tol at Yomi I didn't even know it.I need to work on the BG mu more and the KF mirror was fun learned alot I need to force my setups more too.

Any KF reps at EVO?
Belial! You're back. Thought you were gone forever

I think @RunwayMafia will be there this year. He will remove his fraudulent title of top 64 Hawkgirl at EVO 2013 and add top 8 Killer Frost at EVO 14 if he is. @G4S Claude VonStroke might be there, but it seems he's going to try to expose players on the side as his main focus. @Rickyraws was going to go initially, but of course, we all know his schedule. Tis a shame, for he was a guaranteed top 8.

Comrade Pantocrator might turn over a new leaf and enter with Frost in your honor. If he recovered from the exposure, that is.

Looking at my pool... not kidding I think I might be able to make it out LMAO. On the other hand I could easily go 0-2. Time to flip some coins!

I don't own the game sadly lol. Although I could use some tips. Like how to deal with superman air zoning. I always have a hard time getting a hit on superman
If he's air zoning without meter, you can full combo punish. If you're slightly at range, just jump it(can no longer be meter burned). Block when you see him in the air and he'll be forced to meter burn it or eat a slide punish.
