Incase any of you didn't know yet, Parries are really strong

I've been using a Parrying Dagger in my off-hand and it really makes short work of anyone that likes to stick to a pattern as well as any slow attacking weapon (ultra GS, Great axe, Great Hammer ect) . Still using a whip but now its in the back-up primary slot, so i can still deal with weapons that out range me

Also, The Ruler's GS is amazing. I have over 2 million souls on my primary character so the scaling has brought it up to over 500 damage, and it can still be buffed. Ruler's GS + Buff + Phantom Parry = one shot kill on everyone i've fought so far

Yes, I need to get that dagger, where do you get it?

Parrying was always my thing but the DKS netcode just didn't allow it, guard breaking and cheating the shit out of your opp seems to be the thing now.

Strength weps sound very interesting.

I still want to see that katana that the game mentions but no wiki or forum yet does.

If y'all haven't already, take like an hour to PVP 20 Dragon Scales for the new Dragon Armor (while everyone still sucks). Shit is light, has decent defense and the new animations for breath and roar are shweet

You're the only one. You've been given a Lamborgini and instead of driving it, you use it when you want an air condition, and so you sit in the car whenever you're hot. While the air condition is no doubt a feature of the Lambo, the car itself it what makes it so elusive and desirable.

Dark Souls PvP is awesome and you could pay just it and never touch the game's bosses and still enjoy it. But that's not what made the trailer we first saw tingle our loins; it's Dark Souls.

You want Pvp? I'm tired of one-shorting invaders. Gimme your level and current location and I'll be sure to stop by.

I know the game is good. I don't want it THAT freaking big though. I enjoyed it, give me shortcuts so I can make my damn builds and I'll be fine. I don't even have a second or third gearset due to this game being all hidey hidey

what katana? There are like 6-7 of them and everyone knows how to get them

i have alot of parrying daggers so i assume they are a drop off of some enemy since im only on NG++. If they were strictly a hidden item i wouldn't have this many

Lol, a scythe's description implies the old one from demon's souls was split into pieces and one of those became nashandra.

I don't necessarily orient my play for pvp per say, I just make a build that I haven't done and play whatever pvp comes with it. However, with my heavy character..full smelter gear with dual caestus(1 poison) and large club+10 I decided to join the bell keeper covenant. I have 60+ titanite chunks....Its so funny man. I just walk up to someone and start punching them in power stance. If they get hit its basically an infinite.

That being said, I like the pvp in this game more because 1.) Its not a 'fish for backstab' fiesta
2.) It actually feels like you're fighting someone rather than interpretive dancing with them.
3.) Heavy gear is actually still good. I'm dodging shit with the fat roll ffs.

Server lag is always going to be there. Nothing we can do about it. I start hitting a guy who is just standing there only for him to warp 50 feet away from me because he was backing up in his game. It gets annoying, but c'mon! I have over 60 titanite chunks! What's not to love?

Nah. When it mentions Old Ones its referring to Souls from the first game. But...well...you're right about it partially.

Nashandra is a piece of Manus.

Friend of mine re spec his stats for a hex build lol, maybe it is OP. Still not abandoning my Paladin build though he makes miracles happen :).

Also found some lore that heavily implies the reason that Seath wasn't a true dragon was because he used to be human. Gwyn awarded him the title of duke, the spider in tseldora which is surrounded by crystals everywhere is named duke's dear freja and she drops Seath's soul in NG+

Thanks for the tip. Sitting on 19 dragon scales as of 15 minutes ago. Soooo many people try to use 'cheap' tactics. None prevailed. Only a few noble duelists. I'm recording 'em as I go along because of how hilarious some of the matches are.

Alright, found a method that might help in speedrunning.

Apparently, you can go straight to drangleic castle without lighting a single primal bonfire the moment your soul memory hits 1M. This means mules get to make their builds in half an hour or so.

How do suppose you will get 1m souls accumulated in a short time?

There's a guy in iron keep giving people free 99 hero's souls. That's 990 000 souls if you need 'em. I have no use for such things. Head there, he's in the dragon covenant. Xbox.

i dont think hexes are very good aside from the buffs like resonant flesh/weapon

they do alot of damage but it isn't easy to hit someone with them, more of a PvE thing imo
