Now, I'm sure this topic has been discussed MULTIPLE times in the world, but I have yet to see a discussion on TYM about it. With all the comic book heads on this site, and with IGAU being pretty strong, I figured this would be a VERY good topic to discuss.

So with that being said, there was a discussion tonight on PIG's evo stream about who would win and the topic got very heated very quickly. The biggest topics were:

-Rogue vs Flash
-Rouge in general
-Dark Phoenix vs Superman Prime
-Hulk vs WW
-Batman vs anyone in Marvel


So you be the judge. Use the knowledge that you know about each genre and make your choice! But please remember, this is a debate, and things will get heated, so be prepared to counter your argument people!

Rogue vs Flash- Flash wins easily
Rogue in general- "general" is pretty much the only Rogue there is- she's always been a poorly-defined character that Marvel can't make their mind up about.
Dark Phoenix vs Superman Prime- Superman Prime wins easily
Hulk vs WW- Hulk wins easily
Batman vs anyone in Marvel- there are plenty of Marvel characters that would run over Batman.

They did this back with the Marvel vs. DC card and comic book. I remember that Superman beat Hulk, Batman beat Captain America, and so forth. It would pretty much come down to:

DC: Superman, Wonder Woman, Darkseid, , Zod, Doomsday
Marvel: Galactus, Silver Surfer, Thanos, Thor, Onslaught, Hulk

Pretty sure those are the most "powerful" characters from each world. Am I missing anyone? Of course, Batman would win with prep time.

This is a game we're playing, where people compare fictional super heroes and villains, etc. We use whatever logical constraints are implied by the Marvel and DC universes to try and understand who could POTENTIALLY overpower another. Who cares so long as there's a discussion and it's fun?

SEVERAL times her speed is shown to be faster than Supermans in a fight. Batman himself even states shes faster than Superman in a fight. And did you miss the scan earlier of her keeping up with the Flash in a fight?

If you havent read the comics thats fine. But there are SEVERAL instances over many years noting her speed, and she has many feats showing it. Thanks.

Batman describes it as Superman being Usain Bolt [sprinter] and Wonder Woman being "Bruce Lee" [quick fighter].

Flash going all out is no contest , his speed is immeasurable , at least by comic standards. Of course their not just gonna have flash slap the shit out of Wonder Woman , DC never let's any of their justice league characters get bitch-made. It's just fact vs. fact , and the fact of the matter is flash is the fastest in the DC universe by a metric fuck ton.

Dr Doom could create a tachyon machine, like Ozymandias did ,that prevents him from seeing future or past. Then he could go to the past (Doom officially has a time machine in comics) and stop Dr Osterman's accident from ever happening or just kill Osterman's as a child, or receive his power himself ( that is what he usually likes to do). I am sure he could come up with something cooler than I did in 5 minutes

As I mentioned early on on this thread this is why these questions are retarded as there are massive inconsistencies throughout comic book history due to different writers. You say there are several instances of her being a faster fighter than flash, and then there are a bunch of examples of the flash literally being able to fight anyone in slow motion due to how quickly he thinks.

Then you have cases where freaking Deathstroke is all of a sudden fast enough to kneecap someone who can travel stupidly fast.

I read pretty much every damn comic there is as well, and saying "WoWo has a magic sword that can decapitate the Hulk" is stupid as hell because there is no frame of reference to what it can cut in terms of the durability of the Hulk. Then people start arguing that the Hulk would get angry and become more invincible over time etc.

This is literally why I can't argue this stuff anymore. I should have left my initial and not said another thing in this thread.

She is faster than Superman in a fight though. Flash is the fastest of them all, obviously.

Uhhh the hulk is CONSTANTLY getting cut and messed up from things FAR less powerful than her sword. Hulk also gets knocked out by things FAR less powerful than a punch from Superman or WoWo, so realistically Hulk has zero chance.

Unless somehow hulk grew some resistance to magic all of a sudden. or got superspeed. or learned how to fly. or learned how to fight better than batman.

Those people are not meta humans. He only beat David Cain, and cheated against Deathstroke. Lady shiva stomps batman, and sensei beat both him and ra's at the same time.

Batman can't beat any of them except David Cain and dead shot at pure hand to hand.
