Jump or duck the Zap, block or jump the ground laser, block, jump or even air turbine punish the air laser.
i know what to do......but if he's good at zoning its not that easy to get through, not to mention mb laser pushes back a bit and if you get hit once you have to start over from fullscreen, and when you do get in you still have alot of work to do

id like to think 5-5 also would imply that one character doesnt have to work alot harder than the other to win and in this case it really feels like GL has to work harder than superman,

good question id love to find out although ive never seen a superman player (a decent one) complain about GL, and all they have to do is backdash and laser or breath to put you at fullscreen lol
Offline vs online are two entirely different games. Online has it's value for matchup learning but there are sooooo many things with every character that work online and don't play out irl. Random example: I still can't block batman multi crossups online so I try to yolo air to air to stop him. Offline I don't take those risks because I can see where his hitbox will land. Just a few frames difference completely changes how things play out. Matchup numbers only apply to two players of equal skill at a high level so when the game plan changes due to slight lag compensation it's no indication of how the actual match would've played out. Just my opinion

igau aint poppin here in EU. mk9 has like triple amount of players online, so im still on mk my smoke aint lame lots of shake cancel setups and showing off just fucking around loving it, dont even know my framedate correct would like 2 smoke 1 good with u sumthime and have sum casuals
My issue is if a character is rebalanced and gains 2 extra frames recovery it can absolutely change their entire tier. If a good online connection is 2-3 frames different (and wavering back and forth) you're playing with rebalanced characters that aren't honest.
i get that....i understand online shenanigans that dont work offline but people get away with shit that shouldnt work offline too ive seen it in tournaments...even majors lol

I dropped online igau due to not running into anyone decent in so long and my regular friends list are never on when I am. But I'd definitely love to play a solid player on psn to revive my salt.
