Isn't the ember there useless?

If you have the masterkey you can clear blighttown from lvl 1. Just go to old londo and go straight to your right, there's a door you can unlock which leads to a passage from the valley of drakes which gets you very near to the spider's nest.

I think you need it for +10 weapons, otherwise the large ember is useless.

God world 5......Can we talk about how dumb the final boss of that world is with that swamp of fucking cannibal babies?

My main issue is that he's just boring and asking to be exploited/cheesed. Poison cloud/death cloud, wait 5 minutes and cast again or just hit and run. There's no "fun" way to do it.

The thing with DS is that the boss was designed based on the map difficulty. A shitty world like 5 has weak bosses exactly because it's a pain in the ass to get through.

Possibly unpopular opinion: The majority of Demon's Souls bosses were pretty gimmicky and meh in general. Flamelurker is probably the best.

I reaaaaaaally don't want to sound like some sort of ultimate badass, which I am, by the way, but I beat every boss the first time through when I played Demon's souls. Yup. Didn't even fully grasp the upgrade system so I used tutorial armor for the most part until I took out Yurt. (Love his armor)

So yeah....Allant....Maneater...Flame lurker. No cheese. Pure melee.

Fear me.


Now if you guys are smart you will join me in my crusade come Dark Souls 2.

Lest I be the one doing the invading of your world....

I pvp on occasion, though I don't always use PvP quality builds. Thankfully I PvP in the forest where everyone is free. :/

I know what you mean. I have an RP build for each of the four knights.

When I've invaded people, they always have end game armor and badass weapons, while I have leather armor and a decent +3 weapon. The fights are always close though, but I have to hit them like 20 times compared to them hitting me like 5 times. Am I invading people who are much high level or something?

What SL are you and what specific weapon?

No. They're probably characters who got really good equipment at a low level, or their using the pack mule glitch. You can only invade someone who is within 10 +10% levels of you.
