I think I'm just asking what you guys do to open up opponents, I know I've exonerated predictable and want to expand my options
I have kinda given up on the traditional starters midscreen. You really wanna push them to the corner for those. Midscreen to me is all about crowbar mixups for OTG stuff, the 212 xx teeth frame trap, BGB setups into teeth setups, and jump in pressure with crossups and j3. Certain distances that you land a sweep from give you a pretty ambiguous jump in opportunity as well. It sucks that our best opener (b1) doesn't go into anything good combo-wise, but it's great for canceling into crowbar for OTGs, which gives good wall carry, and it's also great for spacing opponents out in some matchups. Also, be sure to abuse the distance that d2 gets. I like to mix up cancelling it into either crowbar or teeth on block to keep the opponent guessing. This is especially dangerous in the corner.Just starting momentum really, and our only low options are d3 or b1, and b1 doesn't connect int the low gas can, not even in the corner

Yeah I was implying that with BGB setups into teeth, but you can just go for a combo off it too. The only thing that annoys me with b1 xx BGB is it's a little inconsistent due to spacing. Did you try that out with Joker pre 1.06? My thread on b1 xx 3d interactable was a MESS. It's normalized now. Hits everyone, but the hitboxes factor in as the spacing increases. Point blank, always works, but as they get farther away, it only works against the bigger hitbox characters, even when b1 connects. Just gotta get used to the distance and know whether it'll connect. Yep. I like teeth and d2 xx crowbar if they know about it and tend to block. If they don't, just keep doing the teeth b13 32 crowbar. And if you wanna mix them up, teeth crossup j2-> combo.Teeth into crossup or teeth into d2 crowbar or teeth into b1
