Hey while we continue to look for new tech I want to bring this up as the more and more I play top competition to train for Nec the more people are push blocking my rush down w trait. Part of me doesn't mind this but sometimes it annoys me so..........I wanted to share w you guys something

You can ZC in then right when u trait swipe (this is usually what they push blood to avoid the 50/50 guess altogether ) MB b3 as well and your armor will eat the push block and take their meter and combo off of b3

Also as for zod's corner game , idk if u guys know but d12 stuffs 90% wake ups in this game on the frame

FTD
Trident rush
Dooms day's (sooooooo free)
Harley
Etc

But back to my main corner stuff if you have MB I recommend f3 MB into his 48% combo ending in trait summon and if they wake up an block it blocked f3 puts u at perfect distance for max range f2 and you can tick it to throw them or let it come out

I'd really like us to focus on more ways to remove the push block defense, as the meta evolves this will be widely used
That's great stuff man! I knew double hitting moves blows up wake ups, but for some reason I didn't test with Zod.

Also, I would really like to see you do this:

End a combo with 123 xx trait summon in the corner -> mb f3 on their wake up, instant air zod charge/j3 air zod charge on hit -> dash through opponent and cancel the dash in to d4 as you cross them up (Corps hop) - I love the corps hop overhead grab (No one will block that:p)

-The initial mb3 should make them afraid to wake up the second time while you dash through them
- if you cancal in to d4 by holding down-back 4, you will be able to block all wake up attacks if they decide to wake up anyway

Part of me thinks MB grounded slow ZBs are gonna replace mashing Trait Swipe at the highest level as far as interractable tossing.

Honestly yes I haven't messed w corpse hopping that much. I'll try this

Also do u guy realize if they push block a normal w trait our u get a free trait slap?

If what you say is true, then locking them down with Trait Swipings will not work(again, highest level), as they'll push block the swipes and you'll be grounded Batman style, or am I missing something in translation?
If I'm throwing an interactable I'm not anywhere near push block range

R u saying w trait do slow IAZB MB dash in w rush down in front of the balls?

That's an interesting thought

Ok then. I'll be honest, I brain farted and forgot pushblock had a range.

Still, I don't see a lot of MB ZB + Interractable in my own gameplan. I wonder how effective it is at high level

You will BOW to me!
MB slow or medium zb when in full screen and then use of interactable is almost guaranteed in most situations. Depends on the MU though. It locks down the opponent really efficiently.

I use this sometimes tbh. Its really rewarding, but its a bit risky against characters who have fast advancing moves, cause they can punish Zod if he dashes in to pressure them.

I landed the corpse hop into a combo on Godspeed in tournament at WNF yesterday! It was super cool looking!
Wait a second?! You still play Zod in tournaments?:) So happy! I mean, you have the potential to be a great BA, but I don't care about him lol. I want to see corps hops in tournament! Btw, could you verify Chef: I thought we found that just blocking would stop the corps hop after the 1st one, but from my testing this doesn't seem to be the case anymore? At least if you have a hard knock down to use. My video with the bgb for example.

Try recording the ai to do the setup, then try blocking it incorrectly. Let me know if it works still.

Can't wake ups blow up corpse hop?
Depends on the timing, wake-up, and method of corpse hopping.

IE. Neutral jump corpse hop ontop of Zod for example will jump his force push and leave him punishable. The same neutral corpse hop on MMH will get hit because his force push is bigger.

With proper spacing and timing however the wakeups will go the wrong direction which is even better.

You can block most wake ups I think. Same goes for dash cancel in to trait grab. Also, with enough knockdown time you will be on the other side before they can finish inputting a wake up.
But if u try corpse hopping someone and they Wakeup the invincibility will evade the grab and you'll get hit

The initial dash through after air zod charge is veeery easy to time this way:
Dash, and press downback + 4 as you pass "through" the opponent. If he wakes up, your downback will block and your trait grab will never come out. You will not be able to get on the other side of the opponent if he does a wake up attack, so you will always be able to block down back the same way.

Hmm I'll definitely experiment w this
